That’s actually a great horse to have up until chapter 3-4ish If you happened to keep the black shire, really keep him. He’s a good horse too. (Unique, not to mention) I always name the shire Bucephalus. A little earlier in the story, Arthur mentioned a horse he had named Boudica. Bucephalus was a horse belonging to Alexander the Great, and is recorded to have been a huge and wild black horse. I thought the names were a weird match, and the fact that the black shire is introduced as a “skittish brute”, basically wild, the name Bucephalus fit. Even seemed like a name Arthur would use
