Hey there, the safety audio track feature is designed to protect the microphone and recording equipment from damage caused by loud sounds. Using the safety audio track mode will generate two audio tracks: one with the normal volume and another that is approximately 6dB quieter than the normal track. You can easily switch between mono, stereo, and safety audio modes by briefly pressing the power button on the iRay DW20.

@@7RYMS Thanks for your reply. I guess I received a faulty set then. I did post this video on Amazon. I don't know if UA-cam will let me put a link. The receiver just wouldn't hook on the shoe mount I have on my Beastgrip cage. It's a special shoe mount which lock whatever I put there and I need to press it to unlock. But it didn't work at all with the 7Ryms. I tested a Deity and a Godox receiver , just for the sake of a review I am doing. They don't fall.

Hello sir, really sorry for the delay. There are built-in intelligent noise reduction chips in the transmitters of iRay DW30. So the audio is recorded at a low level. You can easily adjust the audio in post-production.

@@7RYMS Indeed and the noise floor is low so that's good. I'd still prefer a slightly higher record level however.
