Thank you for commenting and great questions! There are a few layers here so I’ll try my best to advise you on them: Firstly I would recommend trying free tools before investing in any subscriptions. You can get a lot of mileage out of NotebookLM by structuring your prompts well. Start with “Simulate a 30-minute interview with a hiring manager for [the job sector and role]” or “Role-play an interview with a panel of [specialists] for [the job role].” Google has a free tool called “Interview Warmup” too but just a note it’s limited to a few job sectors only. Your interview research is really the key, if you can find UA-cam videos with your example interview scenarios, sample questions from some websites or even some podcasts from people in the field you’re applying too, these will really make NotebookLM tuned into your specific need and the quality will be spot on. With paid tools there are a few to explore outside of Yoodli - there’s Himalayas Plus, Rezi, aiApply as some good examples, however if your underlying need is to build confidence, then whilst AI can help get you started, the real change to confidence comes from real interview repetition (I would advise interviewing for roles even to get some reps in), comfort in your own authenticity is key and having a good sense of what your own strengths are and what you can bring to the table. Confidence can come from working inwardly on these aspects and will serve you well longer term in your career. From a privacy perspective, Yoodli allows you to request the deletion of your data if you decide to end your subscription. With other platforms like NotebookLM I would ensure to remove your personal data from your CV and data sources you upload. Privacy is an issue that will never be truly solved in the AI space, so always have the mindset of not over sharing identifiable information where possible.
