You're in a groove. Everything you're writing these days is really good. I'm going to the David Gilmour show at the Hollywood Bowl next month. Do you have a regular gig? I'd like to see you live. Live music just sounds better to me, always.
This music belongs in the mainstream again. The guy has so many great songs already. All it would take him to get there is exposure. Finally, rap and hip-hop no longer appear in Spoify's top 10. Very encouraging. All a rap "artist" needs is a drum machine, toss in some vulgar and/or violent lyrics, two drone chords and voilà you're a superstar. No talent required. Still waiting to hear a really good hip-hop song. It's been 30 years! Along comes a genuine singer-songwriter. Maybe there's hope after all. Share this with your classic rock buddies. This is so refreshing, after years of screaming GET OFF MY LAWN!!. I'm not that old, I'll be in L.A. next month to see THE David Gilmour at the Hollywood Bowl. While I'm there I'd love to catch a performance by this guy as well. He's been toiling in relative obscurity far too long. I don't see a weakness in his game. Great voice, musicianship, songwriting, production, etc. Get the word out, my girl was watching Netflix as I walked by I stopped, who is that?

Amazing to see the whole group as invested in and moved by this song as we are. I want to applaud the dampening of the snare - when I was performing I was always afraid to go too soft. It would have never occurred to me to do this. Listening to this I'm really appreciating the subtleties, feeling the rhythm pushing the lyrics out of me like it's my own heart beat breaking free.

Amazing, you need to get out more. Great production on this tune. Normally not a fan of horns but it's a great touch here. I swear you're the best "new" singer-songwriter I've heard in years. Christopher Cross should be flattered. That guy is a fantastic guitar player and yet chose to be kept quiet. "Ride like the Wind" has an awesome outro guitar solo, you just can't HEAR it. Before I saw him live, I thought he was a piano player. Good guy too. Where can I see you live? (With more than a few people. You know, like a tour?)

@DanielBlakeMusic Appreciate the awesome music. Keep it up. I've introduced many friends to your music. Including friends in other countries. I first heard you when you did the "here with me" cover, and it was on the tv show Roswell New Mexico. That cover blew my mind. It's one of the rare occasions where I felt the cover was better than the original. Just something about the way that you sang it. It had a lot of power and emotion in it. Then I checked out some of your other stuff. You have such a unique style, and you make people truly feel your music. Which is something that I appreciate as a huge music fan. That's what music is all about. As I said, I've even introduced your music to many friends around the world. They love you as well. Many of them have you on their Playlists now as well. Haha
