I love this song so much it is one of my favorite Beatles songs.

He went to that park every Sunday morning, enjoying the soft breeze of an autumn day. He comes early for a walk: just before people come with their family and friends. Always enjoying his first cigarette of the week on one hand, the other in one of his coat's pockets, all alone. No one comes earlier than him. Until one day. That day, he saw something through the fog: a silhouette of a person. Someone came before him in that park. He decided to follow the mysterious silhouette, which was walking away from him. He doesn't know why, but his curious mind wanted to know who was this person. He tried to catch the silhouette, but that one vanished in one blink. The fog disappeared. So as the person that he was following. He appears in a place that he didn't know before. Under the tree, sitting on a bench, was a woman reading a book. She looked up at him, he was looking at her... She has soft hair that was like floating in the air. She was holding that book in a foreign language that seemed too heavy for her small and delicate hands. Her mesmerized eyes could bewitch any human being. And her lips... Round, little, pink and soft as a peach, like we could almost taste them. "Who is she ?" He wondered. "Belle journée, n'es-ce pas? asked the mysterious woman. -Sorry? He said like he was almost intimated to speak to such beauty. -Beautiful day, isn't it? The woman asked again. -Of course... was that French? -It was. -Are you? -I sure am, mon ami." She smiled a little after saying that. She closes the book, stood up in front of the man saying: "Je dois partir." She started to walk away until she felt her arm being gripped by the man, creating eye contact with the tall man. They were closed. So closed that they could feel their breath caressing their lips. "I don't even know your name, he said, almost whispering." A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth. She came closer and whispered in his ear... **"Michelle"** the wind blew so hard at that moment that the leaves disturbed the man. And just like that, the mysterious woman disappeared. He was confused and tried to understand what happened in the last minutes... *Michelle...Belle journée...* *"Michelle...Belle...* Those words are going together well, he thoughts." He couldn't stop thinking about her. He wanted to see her again and say the words that she would understand once he'll get to her somehow.

at the very beginning, at like 00:10 when it first says “michelle” (and really whenever it says “michelle”) i looooove how you can hear the chord progression and how resolving it sounds; whenever i listen to the normal song, i always try to pick it out because i love how sweet it sounds. like, it sounds so haunting but then the chord comes in and makes it happy. tl;dr, music nerd freaks out over funky chord
