Paid it off when i was 41,64 now and have become pretty wealthy with all the investing i have done.Made lots of money during 2 crashes with my home equity line of credit.That has enabled us to give our 2 sons the whole estate from my motherinlaw which is 1.2 million,that will give them a huge leg up!

I think you guys are confused. He said “perpetually” which means that you would just be taking out the money that you make on the million dollars every year. And he is suggesting that you would average an 8% return every year.
Yeah I like Dave's advice. I don't understand what there is to dislike. It makes sense.
I agree with these guys. I listened to that podcast. He didn’t say live off the million. He only said to live off the dividends and profit. If you have 1million money to invest in index funds, I think you probably have money from other sources or at least should.
We love you but we hate your inheritance plan that puts us on the street. We want the Interdiction Living Trust financial security system.
But what if your job doesn't pay you enough to build up reliable savings, and that you live month-to-month even though you bust your tail and take on extra duties and train other workers and innovate and create and you still don't get paid above a living wage that allows you to save money?
