Mine didn't come with the case just the basis white and orange box

Put a small rubber o-ring between the hammer and slide around the firing pin while dry firing. This keeps the hammer from striking the firing pin. Remember to remove it when done. Problem solved.

I picked up a TH40c a couple of months ago just because it was really cheap, (i'm also a big fan of .40S&W). Shot it a couple of times and really liked it. Started watching reviews on the TH series guns and have yet to find a bad review. The only con on that gun is I wish the handgrip was just a touch longer but it's a compact so ok. Last week I needed to pick up another gun and decided on the TH40 just because I like the TH40c so much. Got the gun in a couple of days ago and I have to say I love the feel of it. I haven't been able to shoot it yet (we've had the big storms this weekend here in the west and I don't feel like going out in the cold, snow and mud). But i have put in a snap cap and been working on trigger pulls, again really like it. If this thing shoots reliably as the review are saying with the TH series gun, this might be my new carry gun ( it fills all my wants for a carry gun and it's .40S&W). Next weekend if all goes well, shooting it and making a video.

I really like all the Glock series of pistols, the shape of the pistol is very elegant and how to use it is very easy

Now that this problem has been fixed I decided to get one. It’s now my favorite pistol. You have to try to miss with these things. Absolute nail driver for me.

CZ has since address the firing pin retaining roll pin, they made it harder. Check mines regularly and have seen no abnormal wear.

Had a Th9c for my first handgun. Never had any issues with it, sold it to my friend and to this day 0 malfunctions after 4 years

Yea…. Dont think i’ll EVER own a fire arm knowing full well that it is going to fail with regular everyday use. One should be able to dry fore the living HELL out of their gun with no issues. No thanks Cz.

But the problem is not with the firing pin. I had this problem and changed the FP block's retaining pin for one from CZC, but did nothing to the FP because it was not damaged.

Do not dry fire unless you are using snap caps. That goes for any hammer fired pistol, not just the CZ.

This is the reason why CZ Hammer Fired pistols are not used by any large U.S. Law Enforcement Agencies. Cajun Gun Works makes a much more robust Firing Pin Retaining Pin, but I would still recommend using a snap cap or an O Ring if you Dry Fire one of these CZ Hammer Fired pistols!

Dry firing is a no no, if you're going to pull the trigger put a round behind it.

That is caused by multiple dry firing with no snap cap. The notch in firing pin slams against retainer. CZ says to use snap caps while dry firing.

I believe there are after market pins that are solid and eliminate this problem.

So does the problem shows again afer replacing this pin!!?

Do you say 125$ for a roll pin? Is it made of kryptonite?
