Fabulous podcast. Nice to hear the opening up on mental health. Stumbles across this by chance. Do you still make them or any plan to? Can’t believe the dude is 29. Looks mid to late 30s. People don’t realise the impact health condition have on the body
Mid to late 30s? I must say that's a first, I usually get told I look younger. My health is in good order thanks, I train Muay Thai five times a week and have a great diet.
Thanks for your comment, we do plan to make a season two soon. Can't say Craig has ever been considered older but maybe it's his lockdown haircut - he's very fit and healthy (vegan too!)
@@conversationsbythesea3889 Hey dude its cool.plenty of sleep helps rejuvenate the body and I advice you eat plenty of fruit and veg as this help heal your body. Cant wait for the next series dude I watched all other podcasts on channel now. Keep fighting
Yer. Mental health has big impact on skin and age
Emotional intelligence, a podcast 👏🏻❤️
Ohh you!! What a compliment 🤩
I won't take Craig's remark about people "over 40" to heart too much! :D
Ha! You are certainly an exception to the rule
@@conversationsbythesea3889 Thanks. :D
A great topic as always and one of the few positives of the Pandemic hopefully is that the facade of ‘everything is wonderful all the time’ has fallen away a bit. Success in life can be measured in so many ways and so many times success gets tagged to money and don’t get me wrong, money gives you the power and freedom to do good things but being a decent kind person is key for me and there should be no shame in enjoying life in perceived low status jobs, the goal doesn’t always have to be self employment or entrepreneurship 👍😊
I'll be a bit better dressed next time!! Thanks once again for asking me 🥰
This is really interesting and when I listen to Craig describing his ADHD it makes me think about me as there are more than one or two behaviour parallels - Great Podcast as always
Potter and Harmony CBTS Merch! 😜
Big Fan, can't wait to get my hat! ;)
You'll be first in line for a hat, Joel!!!
This was a great episode! Makes me miss Akido and Kendo from years back - just for the camaraderie, discipline and mental and physical fitness. Post lockdown would be good to find something out there to do again 🙌 Loved that Craig’s signature win celebration was a flip / from parkour 🤣
I bloody loved this episode! Especially as I relate with Craig in terms of Scrawny kid all my life and being bullied for it, which actually meant I was afraid to ever go to the gym let alone start doing Muay Thai as I saw those as spaces that were prime for that kind of bullying. Like Craig said though far from it! Most people are very welcoming and support one another. And since doing Muay Thai and going to the gym my confidence both physically & mentally has never been better. Would happily take a recommendation to local Muay Thai gym if you have one as I'm dying to get back to it.
So glad you enjoyed it Joel!!! I will get Craig to message you separately about his gym, it's quite a new one and relatively small in North Shields, he loves it!!
@@conversationsbythesea3889 Appreciate it!!!
@@joellowson2031 Hey Joel - it's not open yet cos of COVID but the small gym I'm at is called Allegiance Muay Thai near the big Tesco North Shields. Would love to have you there.
Fellow scrawny kid growing up here too! We should start a club 😆
@@CraigThomasBoyle Appreciate it Craig! I'll definitely check it out. Might have to dust off the gloves and the rust first though, haha.
I really never understand "shoulder touchers", for me it has always been a step too far in boundaries especially when they seem to pop up out of nowhere... Great episode though!
I know, it's totally inappropriate at any level!
G’day from Sydney! Geth and I listened as we chopped the veges for ahem.. dinner (previously known to this northerner as Tea). Great wholesome chats ☺️. Craig, glad (?) to know you got a diagnosis and can understand yourself better with it. You two are a great team (oh and Potter and Harmony of course!) Sending love and Aussie Autumnal love. xx 🧡
I absolutely detest the hustle culture! It promotes an unhealthy work-life balance. Make enough to live comfortably, and have a sustainable working ethic and lifestyle.
For those not from the UK (United Kingdom), in the video GP means "general practitioner" which is a type of medical doctor here in the UK.
Just love you guys so much! Well done x
Love it guys ! What Mics are yo using?
I'd guess the microphones are SubZero SZC-300 condenser microphones, but maybe Ellen can confirm whether that guess is correct or not.
@@JohnBrace_Wirral nice one , thanks John
John's right! Got them as a kit from Gear 4 Music :)
Looks a lot better than episode 1 Ellen! The lighting is much better this time (compared to episode 1) and it's a tighter shot of you both too.
Cheers John, slowly but surely getting better!
Loved the first episode! Can't wait to hear/watch more. Also I know it's terrible but I still call it lunch... trying to change it.
I love you buddy 💜 proud of you both for taking all the steps you've both been taking. Also. Dinner.
Great first episode, really insightful and open. One suggestion? If you can find the space, set it up so that you're facing each other, then you won't have to turn away from the mic to look at Craig (or just don't look at Craig like the rest of us try to do ;) )
Thanks Matt! Unfortunately, we don't have the space because of where the window is, we'd be in the shadow but next week's episode is a bit better framing-wise hahah Craig says thanks though 😂
Matt, you're too kind :p
Love it! Am subscribed!! All the very best and looking forward to regularly tuning in 👍😊
Yay thanks Kate!!
I want to use Notion to keep my Swipe files. Any suggestions?
