Ok you afficiandos... which design, yes actual design came first: the Facel Vega which had a prototype done in Oct '53, or this '53 Chrysler Special? Apparently the Chrysler came first appearing in '52 exhibitions. Let me know if this isn't correct. All that to say, at a glance the side profiles are quite similar...then to learn the FV HK500 had a Chrysler v8. Wish I had all day every day to explore automotive history...
