Purchased these and the iron rangers in alpine. They are very smart boots! The photos online and in adverts do not do them justice. They are both becoming one of my favourites!

Just bought a pair of these for use as a work boot as an automotive tech because they have Gore-Tex. My feet are always getting wet and I know Danner makes a damn good waterproof boot. Haven’t received them yet, I sure hope those soles are comfy on cement, because I am sick and tired of sore/wet feet and knees.

RW lasts are so uncomfortable it's ridiculous. I regret buying my 875. There are like Victorian Lasts. But feet were never shaped liked that. Rubbish.

When Redwing introduced this 8828 and 8847 as their new colour, I instantly take the 8847 and not really interested in the Alpine Portage but this colour have been growing on me since. I wonder what they look like when they get older. Anyway, you can never go wrong with RW moc toe, they make some of the best style and value

Omg another lame Redwing review. Are the boots even made here? No. I'm going to help you know the difference between between work and fashion boots. Work boots have steel toes. They are required by osha to have steel toes and more sole puncture , steel shanks, protection and therefore the break-in is not the same. Some mocs come steel toes. There are some boots that can be in shops but they are not work boots by definition . Work boots come in black and yellow and few options. Fashion boots comes in other colors. We don't buy fashion boots for work . Mocs have bigger toe box. The product you are reviewing have never in the US. Probably . The boots you have don't even look Redwing because they aren't. You're basically praise Redwing knock off because you don't know what the f you are talking about. If you don't wear work boots in shop stop talking about them. Your review is about knock off hikers in fashion color. Redwing review on UA-cam lazy and ignorant. Pick any maker. Please. Morons. Stop. At least review America made products!!!!!

I just purchased them in Red Wing Tokyo store last month. It's weird that I did not need a break in time. It's already comfy the first day I wore, and I've been wearing them daily without any issues.

I got mine right around Christmas, and love em! I swapped out the laces, and it's made it a complete package!
