      Hey, I have a Kenda big block in the back and an Anake Wild in the front. The Anake Wild is a great tire with good grip on and off road, the Kenda big block is better off road, on quick deceleration on the pavement the Kenda tends to loose grip and you feel like you are riding a Super Moto race!. On the other had they are relatively cheap but good tires.

    • @MotoWorld777
      @MotoWorld777 6 місяців тому

      Hi, no failure! I had removed it when I did my valve adjustment and simply did a separate video on removing adjusting and reinstall. If you hear rattling, it is likely either the valve tensioner or your valves. Pop it out and inspect it. Lots of guys go for manual adjusters, but if it is working keep it in there. You can also take off the cam cover and inspect the tightness of the tensioner (before you loosen it and also do a valve measuring to see if they are loose. Let me know what you find!

    • @MotoWorld777

      no, not at all. The tensioner only puts pressure on the chain. If you are adjusting the valves, then yes definitely put it on top dead center using the marks on the valve chain sprockets then remove the tensioner. then use the screw at the bottom of the case to lock it in place. (only on the 250s and 350s). To only check the valves just use the timing marks on the timing chain sprockets.

I removed my tensioner to check if it was the source of my rattling sound, and it was the problem. After that I pushed the bike in neutral (without any tensioner installed) in my garage about 5 meters and in my mind it shouldn't be a problem but a mechanic friend insisted about a possible issue which is timing chain missing a teeth, which would be bad. @@Amin.namdari thanks, I am missing your point a bit, but if you are saying that is somehow devalues the resale of the bike, it may be true. But my butt is more valuable than the seat! 😁 If I wanted I could put another foam in the seat before I sell it, but at this point, I will likely keep this bike for many years so it needs to be comfortable, ridable and enjoyable first.

    hello steve the phrase 'Errors fuel' keeps popping up on my Ducati scrambler classic dashboard. When I got an inspection at Ducati headquarters, it says to replace the dashboard, but the price is $1400, which is not a convincing price. I change fuel pump, fuel sensor, finally..i have to change my dashboard. but i dont know why these symptoms on my dashboard. everything is fine but only message ' errors fuel' is on my dashboard. do you know why?

      if you know that it is a false light and that all is working well, just ignore it. But check for ways to reset the dash as well.

    Good video! Can you share your feelings about this chineese lowering link after two years? Did you have problems with this during use? Thanks

      Hi, yea, the FE 250 is still one of my favorite bikes to ride and the lowering link still works like new, no problems. As I showed in the video, it is the same one they sell in the US, they are all made in china. For me the lowering link makes the bike perfect for enduro and trail riding!

    Dear.. where I live there are only restrictions.. I own a Scrambler like yours, a funny and lovely little thing which I love to ride. It‘s easy going but if you need power, well there is more then one would expect :)

      yes, I agreee 800 ccs with 75 hp is plenty. Most of the work I do is not for more power but for better performance, as in making it lighter or adding crash bars and other accessories, Also to make it more of an adventure bike.

    Well Dorthy, clearly your not in Kansas anymore! I have been to Russia many times before the SMO - was very interested to see you living and riding in Georgia. Love the videos - keep them coming. You have a very down to earth and practical presentation - common sense approach. I am looking at a Husky 350 S dual sport - need to ride 30 km before I get into the mountains around Banff Alberta Canada. Please keep the videos coming like the lowering link, softening the seat etc. Very informative and practical!

      Hmm, good idea. I made them out of some good strong strap material. Just need to attach them to strong points like the forks or in the back the bolts just under the subframe. Use big washers and seal or melt the ends so they don't fray.

    hell o. im from korea, and is that Andreani Cartridges is better than Ohlins catridge?? because Ohlins catridge is too expensive.... Im just want to know is that dramatically change?? more than pure ducati scrambler front shock??

    • @MotoWorld777
      @MotoWorld777 Рік тому

      Hello, I have not tried the Ohlin's cartridges, but the Andreani are great and really improved the suspension in the front on road and off road! The original, stock set up is only good for flat roads where there are no bumps! I do have the Ohlin's rear shock and I love it!

    I have the same problem. Broke them and now I have to buy a new fuel pump just for those clips. I've zip tied mine just like you did. Just wanted to see how yours have been holding up or did you eventually get a new pump? :)

      Hi, it has been about 3 years ago that I did this and I have had no problems, leaks or even thought about it since. Give it a try. Get them good and tight and if need be inspect them a bit of time after you install them just to be safe.
