I could see these two starring in a remake of the old Wild Wild West TV series. Jensen as Jim West and Misha as Artemus Gordon. They resemble the originals strongly and already have excellent chemistry.

The thing is, as much as i hate the obvious queerbaiting that went on with Destiel at times, i actually think the way Destiel was done throughout the show was, ironically, very realistic. In many ways it makes perfect sense that Cas would realise his feelings for Dean more easily, (since angels are genderless and not as concerned with sexuality) but because he's an angel perhaps he didn't fully realise his feelings or act on them for years until he's lived among humans long enough to recognise them for what they are. And Dean... well at the end of the day Dean is a man born and raised in 1980s America by an ex-marine father who trained him to be a soldier, not exactly a conducive environment to explore your sexuality... even if he does have some bisexual tendencies, which i personally think he does, it makes perfect sense that he would bury these or never really realise them consciously, especially since hes obviously attracted to women too. I think probably Cas is the only 'man' hes ever been close enough to and known for long enough to have a real chance of falling in love with and realising his feelings for. it was obviously going to take years of slowly becoming closer to Cas for him to even register that his feelings for Cas might be becoming more romantic/ sexual, if he even registered it at all until Cas drew attention to it with his confession speech. i actually think it kind of makes sense that only certain death would force these two idjits to confront their feelings, and that they wouldn't actually get their act together and have an explicit conversation about their feelings until its too late! While i definitely think the writers could have done something more, maybe shown Dean and Cas reuniting in heaven and done SOMETHING with it rather than just killing Cas off altogether, i dont think running in to each others arms to passionately kiss was ever going to be the vibe with these two! Even as a big Destiel shipper I think I would have found it unrealistic and it would have felt a bit forced to see them kiss or for Dean to give a reply straight away. I think the writers sort of shot themselves in the foot by not making it a more explicit romance earlier, it makes it hard to judge what would feel like an appropriate/ realistic reaction from Dean at that point. It just was too little, too late.

Through the show, up until the angel crap started, Dean was a man-whore. He loved beautuful women, who else can dispute that. The whole gay thing was so rudiculous and far fetched. It was only done to get more lgbt ppl to watch, plus to make a whole new fan base. I got so sick of all the destial sh*t online. I made enemies because i vegemently was against it. Also, Ackles had a lot of pull and popularity at this time, so im sure if he had wanted their last meeting to be closet type gays, then Jensen wouldve made it happen. Apparently he didnt as the series showed this. 😊

This. This is why we need a reboot. This is THE love story, which, honestly, ended like shit. I honestly need to see a continuation of this story, because I feel Dean and Cas aren’t finished yet. It’s genuinely surprising how this love story was written “by accident”, because it’s much more thorough and profound that any other I’ve watched in my whole life. Cas’ final declaration took our hearts and smashed them into pieces, and we were left with a confused and devastated Dean to continue without his partner. And, by the way, it’s not like Dean treated Cas wonderfully, he was a jerk to him so many times. I get that Dean had a lot of emotional baggage behind his supposedly “tough guy” actions, but still, if you love someone, you cannot treat them like that (because it’s clear that he loves Cas). Now, the finale was very vague with what Dean and Cas would both be doing in heaven, and we didn’t manage to see a reunion of the two, which was just extremely disappointing. We need a reboot, not just because the ending was a flop or because I would never stop watching supernatural seasons, but really because we need a proper ending between these two. I feel like after Cas' heartbreaking last words we need a BIG apology from Dean to Cas, because, isn’t love about reconciliation? Cas has devoted literally his entire life to Dean, but Dean isn’t quite good at expressing emotions. I hope they try to do this, because guys, WE NEED IT! Btw, thank you for reading my little rant, hope I didn’t take much of your time :D
