This video is about jayvi's mobile mechanic
This exactly how I want my set up
What size box are you using in the back?
@@oilrider7106 us general 47”
What cage is that behind the toolbox
Just one I pulled from the junk yard think it was from a Chevy express
@@jayvismobilemechanic9250 looks like it fits like gold
..... Never work for white customers they stare at you funny and ask you if you've ever done this before Nothing but narcissist....40%....
Yeah, but what quality of mechanic are you ?
Alright m8 how did you go about doing the setup??
I know this is an old post, but how much does commercial liability insurance run in your area?
Nice 👍🏼
May I ask. Where did you get your shelve at?
Exellent
I think this video just convinced me to buy one and start my mobile equipment service business
thats very nice
Impressive. Orderly arranged.
Very nice setup! Do you find the 2 gallon compressor to be sufficient for all you pneumatic needs? Pulling vacuum on cooling system, running impact gun, etc.....? Also, how are you powering the compressor and how do you charge your batteries for electric tools?
Good day thank you, on the air compressor I really don’t use it much just to blow off dirt and fill tires most of the time. All my tools are cordless the chargers and air compressor is powered by a 1000w inverter. For a mobile set up cordless power is the way to go.
what's your weekly average income?
Hi we average $1800-2200 weekly one van goal of $350-400 a 9-5 day 5 days a week that is gross. Before expenses.
@@jayvismobilemechanic9250 very nice bro sounds like you stay busy, keep up your great service, thanks.
Looks great
Love the set up man. May I ask how you mounted it to the van so it won’t move? Any help would be appreciated. I’m setting up something very similar to maintenance my trucks. Thank you much!!!!
Thanks I pulled all the drawers and bolted it through the floor with oversized washers underneath and added heavy duty L brackets to the rear of the box. Did the same thing on my newer set up check that one out.
@@jayvismobilemechanic9250 I did saw the new ford. Looks amazing. Thanks for the heads up man. If by any chance you add to your fleet. Post a video on how to set the box and stuff up. I think it would be helpful. Thank you so much for that info!!
Nice. Is it too heavy for the suspension? Did you put a constantly load suspension or airbags? Thanks
Thanks no at all does not affect the ride what so ever they are made to hold some weight, they are leafspring. My 2016 transit is springs and it also rides smooth with even more weight .
Bad ass setup!!makes me want to do a video on my 3500HD dually setup I’m in Ohio so it’s been tough working on 20 degree weather.keep doing your thing bro not many good mobile guys out there .lots of guys jack legging on cars that have no idea what they are doing ,they give guys like us a bad name ,nice rig very well put together
What state you located in brother?
Thats cute it looks like a toddlers toy van lol rookies. There’s two types of mechanics the ones that know how to work on everything and the ones who only replace drive belts and filters. How can you tell the difference? The type of work vehicle and tools they have. You don’t even have a/c gauges
There's actually a couple different types of mechanics. Auto body mechaincs are the worst (if you would even call them mechanics). 99 percent are parts changers and not actual mechanics. Real mechanics troubleshoot. Most real mechanics are the ones found working on equipment made from the 50s to the 90s.
Nice rig. I also run a mobile mechanic job. I tried putting the tool chest like you did and had a big inconvenience; I was loosing control of the rear. My rear suspension coils were struggling too with the weight. Do you have the same problems?
Thanks no issues with weight at all can handles like it was empty, these are built to handle the weight.
@@jayvismobilemechanic9250 thank you. Your vehicle looks a little lower to the ground. Probably that helps with the stability. I’ll check my struts too, see if that is mainly the issue.
what kind of mpg's do you get with it loaded down like that. Im debating the new transit connect vs promaster city.
When you opened the back doors, I was impressed. Very nice 👍. I don't understand some mobile mechanics when they hardly have any tools. They limit themselves for the type of work and vehicles. I like the setup. Hopefully you will have a successful business.

yo tengo una asi en PR
Looks good . You don’t change oil? Where you keep oils ?
We don’t do much oil services we do have major rental car contract for that they provide everything on the spot.
Simple and effective setup, shelves on the side with special tools, I really like your set as i am thinking the same!
That’s what I shoot for keep it simple and efficient
Great set up! How much did you invest on your mobile vehicle?
Hi well it’s hard to say when I started I literally started with $3000 including the van and to this day I keep investing and making it better more efficient, my new van I have over $20k with the van and everything in it if not more. But it’s worth it some days bring home $800-1000 in a single day.
Nice use of space.
you should make a video of how you started.
yes i plan on it
How do you schedule your appointments?
We are usually booked a week out I try and schedule two good paying jobs a day leave some time for quick jobs in between the day. We do about 2-4 jobs a day with a goal of minimum $300 profit a day and it’s not hard to do that with simple jobs
How do you go about writing up a forums or contract for the customer to sign?
I am also starting my mobile mechanic service too. I need a vehicle that can transport all my tools around. But awesome video man. A new sub.
Love this. Exactly the set up I need for the odd call outs when I'm home . Tidy wagon mate 👍
Hope you got kick ass insurance. That'd be one hella'va payday for a car thief.
You are a GENIUS what of Amazing presentation thank you for making this video I had to watch this twice
That looks good, man. Subscribed.
Thank you
Nicely put together
Nice set up bro

You should show some work in action repairs
I wish you were here in Massachusetts..
Nice well organized!!
Thank you makes keeping track of tools and work flow much faster and efficient.
nice van, what brand of tool box is that?
Thank you it’s the newer 44” harbor freight box
To the point lol. Mobile mechanic
Love the set up looks a lot like my first van! However I got a second one and looking at the u.s. general boxs. How do they hold up in your rig?
Thank you try to stay as simple and organized as possible the box is bolted threw the floor with plates and heavy duty L brackets on the back of the box.
I am not a thief, but you make me steal your car! 👍👍👍 you need to have more than one alarm and a built in GPS tracker.
Fully equipped gps
Nice van
Thanks
This set up is fire bro! Como cuanto invertiste en todo?
My initial start up was under 4K including the van but I have never stop changing it and growing it I am always investing in my business.
