Calibrating plate helps your smartphone to understand what task it has to do and what is the scale for measurement. All you need - to print the calibrating plate in 100% scale on any printer. If you have all 8 markers visible then you'll get proper accuracy when uploading the photo to Petiole Pro. Choose contrast background for better accuracy.     I love the option to select small or big chessboards for calibrations. It enables leaf area measurements for tiny and large leafs (or seeds or fruits).

    I followed your instruction, but I always get NaN for Area, although the Leaf I want to measure is read and selected. Do you have an idea what the problem could be?

      Thank you for your question - all our calibrating pads, including the legacy calibration pad (chessboard type) are available in the app. Go to the app and choose DIY calibrating pad (third tab from the top of the main dashboard). We hope this will help.
