Custom mode is great for learning shields as you can turn off all the other survival weapons or shields you deem useless

Thunder shield is absolutely goated for shield only runs, it stuns, does big aoe damage and gives you passive damage too, it's really good but you need to reach the spoiler biome in 5bc so good luck unlocking it

as some1 who beat 2 bc in my first run i hate to see you learning parry after 1bc

Also ramparts is considered by most to be the best shield in the game, for this challenge assault shield and Alucard's shield would probably be best, even if they are considered the 2 worst to most people (LIES, assault shield gang rise up) it's kinda hard to parry with Alucards shield but it has a slam attack built in.

THIS is how you enjoy a game. You make a series that yeah, you may focus on the main objective for a while but if it becomes grindy and just not as fun, spice it up!!
