Thank you. I am not sure about the exact model for this, but I have to correct it now that it is actually an Italian virginal and built by an English maker.

It´s a very nice sounding harpsichord. I like it very much. So there is a buff stop on the lower manual. The upper manual too ?
It has a buff for only the lower manual. It is one of nice instruments at the Juilliard School!
@@hanpsichord Normally the buff stop is on the upper manual....Some Blanchets had buff stops on the two manuals. Nice sounding instrument.

안녕하세요 하프시코드 배우신다니 반가워요! 혹시 절대음감이시면 415hz가 어색하실 수도 있겠네요. 피아노 연습하시다가 바로 바꿔서 연습하셔야하면 조금 쉬운 레퍼토리나 스케일, 코드 진행 등을 천천히 치면서 15분 정도 귀가 적응하는 시간을 주시면 좋을 것 같아요. 전문 연주자들도 상황에 따라 440hz으로 연주하기도 한답니다. 제 의견으로는 아마추어틱하지 않아요!

Nice performance! I like baroque music more fast-paced and consistent though, so there are some parts with unnecessary stops. That is, of course, a matter of personal opinion and the other ones are perfect. Good job!
Thank you very much for your comment. Yes, it is difficult to make good pauses "musically". I definitely need to get better with that. Also it is interesting that this piece feels quite fast even though it supposed to be 'moderato'.
@@hanpsichord You're welcome! I'm currently trying to lear the piece on my piano -unfortunately- and the part starting at 2:08 is driving me nuts. How do you get such good speed with the left hand? Is there any special technique?
It is also very challenging for me. Practicing slowly each sections(phrases) was helpful. Good luck, and enjoy this fun piece!

Carl Ritchie Temple Thank you for your comment. I remember that I struggled to figure out the rhythm of the gigue when I learn the piece.
I can't wait for you to do the other 549... I hope that you are still playing. I love the combination of timing perfection and excitement. You sound like Scott Ross speeded up. If you can do it that fast, then you should be encouraged to do them all (at a more moderate pace), retaining that sensation of life and enthusiasm while concentrating on your ability to ping the notes out at exactly equal time intervals. That was what made his playing so fantastic, and I see that potential in you.
