Superb musicians . I had the pleasure of seeing them live after the release of their debut album. Absolutely brilliant. I had the chance many years later to talk to Bill Bruford after a gig with his jazz band. An all round good bloke and we chatted for ages.

This fabulous band can undergo only one criticism: about not managing to survive beyond the first album in the original line-up and beyond their second studio album at all. Of course, punk movement would have had nothing but aggressive criticism about them but we know better :-)

Zonder Eric de Bruyn als stuwende kracht achter de schermen had, buiten de TH Delft, niemand ooit van Alquin gehoord.

Talent that came after him.. Eric Carmen had something that others did not. He set the stage for many.

UK was a brilliant and gifted band in the same vein as Emerson Lake and Palmer. It's a shame the band only recorded 3 albums.

Can't help thinking this band would have been massive if they had been promoted better or just had a few lucky breaks. They are incredibly good! The songs are catchy as hell play back in the head beautifully.

Typical fate of modern children. Great musicians don't get any exposure. Very few kids acquire any musical skills these days. Past masters demonstrate amazing skills but kids don't give a s**t. It's now more interesting to watch a quick TickTock video or play a game on mobile phone. Sad future. No inspiration and no creativity which is now left to some random AI to fill in the future.
