Make sure you tighten your driver at least once a month if you're hitting golf balls every day you better do it every two weeks. Devin Whipple was hitting his Threewood 280 and then with 115 miles an hour clubhead speed and center contact his drives were not going over 300. His smash factor was 1.35. Then we tighted the driver /click click 1.50 smash factor well over 300 yards consistently afte...

"Yip Fix" for Putting - A New Approach on the Putting Green
This video does not explain the golf grip. It sort of explains the way this person grips the club. What would be a more valuable lesson would be to explain the differences between a strong grip or a weak grip and how they effect the swing and ball flight. Another more valuable point would be to discuss grip pressure, since that is probably more important than the actual way in which your fingers lay on the club.
So tired of these grip videos claiming to be the “correct way”. There is no correct way, stop following these people, go to the range or course, figure out what works for you and improve from there.
Pointing your thumbs straight down the shaft is extremely weak. Your thumb on your top hand should be at 1 o’clock or 11 if you’re a lefty. Not too mention it’s best to shorten your thumb by pulling it back, and keeping it closer to your index finger. That reduces the tension in your forearms. You lose so much power just by having your thumb extended at 12 o’clock. You can’t use it to drive the club when it’s on top like that. That one mistake can rob a ton of distance. But grip the club however works best for you, that’s most important. If you want to get the most out of your swing, don’t put your thumb straight down the shaft
people need to stop saying left hand and right hand - not everyone is righty!
I follow that kind of grip i wasn’t comfortable and can do a good swing. Its whats make u comfortable using the club. Of course u figure it out how to adjust to make a good golf swing.
And lock in the back
Grip higher
TMI. Thanks though 😊
No the V of your right hand should point directly at your right shoulder
If you don't you get shafted
Beautiful ❤
Terrible explanation
3 armed guy?????
Next time stand in the fairway when explaining the grip 😂😂😂❤
Bro has 4 hands oh my god
RIGHT?! LIKE AM I BLIND? HOW IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS!!!
Just grip it like you would a baseball bat. It’s way more comfortable and you have more control.
Where was the double pump?
did i make a random grip or what is it called when i dont use my thumb bc it feels like its gonna brake everytime i try
Might be gripping too far into your palm on your lead arm hand. If the club is too deep into your palm it’ll cause tension in your wrist which won’t allow it to be flexible through your downswing and follow through, thus causing pain in your lead wrist hand and fingers
The grip alignment is helpful. Thanks 🤘🏻
Hi Michael Do you remember San Diego Golf Academy ? You are doing great I am so proud of you
Right thumb not on club this nit right
thats what i was thinking .. i dont grip it like he did
The grip that works for you and provides consistency is the correct grip
Hands are so different . I’m 45, over 6 foot, got skinny girls hands with no fatty meaty part on the thumb pad. My. Thumb also doesn’t stick out to the side , it’s more straight . Seems Like it would be hard to make all hands do the same thing
@@ourclarioncall for sure. I've got medium hands and a big fatty thumb pad. I use medium grips with 2 pieces of grip tape
It's the bottom thumb being top center on shaft that I do, and is displayed here, that I've learned is incorrect. It should flop over to opposite side. Yes? But I've found that hard to do, or change. Thoughts?
That’s was causes a slice, or at least what I’ve been told. The grip is worst thing to change because it feels so weird but once you find a correct grip it’s worth it
It is so hard. Even if I start out thumb left by the time I strike the ball it’s back to center - so I think I can try this. His grip is also new to me I was told to clasp the club within the first fold of my fingers. He kinds is a full flight of stairs away from my grip position.
That’s correct. Geri Geren, a tour professional I’ve gotten lessons from recently changed that about my grip and it has worked very well for me. There are a few other things we’ve worked on and I can basically draw on command now.
Video swing analysis is a quick way to confuse and ruin a feel player.
WAIT IF YOU HOLDING THE STICK THEN WHO HOLD THE PHONE?????
He is. Someone else is holding the club
His third leg
Silly man the size of your thumb isn't changing 🤣
Hey Bob, nice explanation! Shaw Bird...
its a transition move [the shift] if you notice the back swing is still going back when he shifts..
What's the point of this ?
Shout-out to the turtle for helping him improve his swing
nice
Sergio Garcia
You suck
great shot! wow such talent
Hogan discovered the importance of plane for him in 1938, his swing was more upright and dynamic then until his big car crash. The videos of him you post are after his accident and in the slow motion by the sea hes in his 80s! He also stated it was acceptable to swing under the plane. For most golfers pane is a concept that illustrates swing positives or negatives ie an effect not a cause. You could appear to swing perfectly on plane and hit the ball nowhere and off line!
I gather from the other comments that being correct according to the evidence (your video) will never get in the way of idol worship. Ben Hogan was not Moses carrying "Five Lessons" down from Mt. Sinai. Things change. There a lot of things in his book that he did on Monday and did not do on Friday, just like any golfer. All these guys are saying is that just because it's in the book doesn't mean it's a law of the universe. Lighten up, Clarence.
I look forward to when you make new videos. You’re one of the best teachers the game has.
Absolutely nailed that one, great shot son.
Hey John, is this putter available yet? I’ve been waiting for the release!
she is using the wrong muscles, no power
Robert Johansson you are idiotic
How do you walk from the 10th green to get to the 11th tee masters
Arnold Palmer
How do golfers walk from the 10th green to get to the 11th tee
Correction; you mean the "2nd nine" at Augusta National. There is no back
The trail hand does not hinge in a golf swing what you just demonstrated is flexing of the hand not hinging. The lead hand hinges the trail Hand flexes. If you swing as you just demonstrated you are a flipper of the golf ball. Not good. Not good indeed. Ouch!!!
You didn't listen well.
It sure looked like flipping the trail hand at the bottom on the downswing to me. But if it is not what he meant then good At any rate I am happy with my swing today; just not happy with staying home like everyone else. Hope you are enjoying your game. He may be a good golf instructor as I have not seen any of his videos in two years. At any rate I am good to go. And do not care for any arguments. If I misinterpret what he was teaching then I apologized for that Cheers
this guy is an idiot. Maybe he should go back and read the book again and post a new video. It's because of hacks like this that i refuse the pay over $100.00 an hour for lessons anymore. All anybody needs to do is take this book to the range and follow Hogan's five lessons and they'll be much better off.
This is working for me presently - have been struggling big time with the chipping yips. Never putting. Never pitching - but has become a nightmare- where if I miss a green, it's a sure bogey. The easier the chip - the more I yip. Have tried humming during chipping - which does work, but not foolproof. But cross handed is promising - keeps my shoulders level; and allows me a nice left side dominant takeaway and a transition that is smooth not "yippy jumpy".
Hi Jim! Glad to hear it is working for you! Anything that works. There are no "style" points in golf!
He says the arc of the hip turn is wider on the downswing than on the backswing.
While I am inside my house, I read these golf swing secrets “Jοmtοnο Naha” (Google it) and after finishing it, I tried out the recommended exercises on the field. I couldn`t believe what a difference it made in my swing after 30 years of playing golf. The drills have helped with small details I had never paid much attention to.
Thanks, well explained this whole course.
