Nah, James Gunn did the best thing ever by recasting Wooden Man, He's an Elite Filmmaker and Director we do NOT know better than him when it comes to these castings. You got a new universe that's potentially going for 15+ years you don't need a 40 yo man; that's from the business side of things... As from the acting side of things; Cancelled-Man aka Henry Cavill can't act his way outta a paper bag! Like I'm sooorry he can't do Clark Kent to SAVE HIS LIFE. David Corensweat on the other hand, is a whole "Trained Actor" graduated from The Juliard where Christopher Reeve (The Goat Superman) graduated from! David Corensweat is leagues better than Henry acting wise, his performance on the Politician show alone dusts dude whole catalog. Plus he's 6.4 just like Supes in the Comics he's supposed to be towering everybody. He has insane acting chops from Comedy to Action to Drama and that's what you need for Superman in particular, he is a "Soulful" character not lifeless, bland and brooding. Again I'm sorry, Mr. Henry Cavill aka Man of Stale 😂

No. If there was any actor who was like the epitome, the ultimate epitome of Superman, it was Christopher Reeve who did it. HE, what's the one who defined the role. Just ask any long time fan!
