This young man keeps amazing me interview after interview ! He radiates intelligence and subtelty .Never seen such a maturity at his age. He is so well spoken and articulate as well. A great career is coming for sure, his acting is incredible. I just hope he always finds people who deserve him and his great talent and personality.

An undoubtedly clever young man. Willing to "give" of himself in these interviews, as in his acting. A fine line between honesty/integrity and self-advertisement. /On Young Royals 3: of course one has not seen the last episode, but so far I have the feeling that the writer(s) had both too much to say in time allotted, and too little to convincingly say in the characters' evolution.

personally, i think this was the best podcast edvin has ever been on! such insightful questions, with a bit of personal ones that almost never breached his privacy and in return made it even more fun to listen to! very excited for his future as an actor and writer, and i wish him all the best in his life as well!

what is it about

I love listening to Edvin talking about himself like this. He's so experienced in acting, so conscious and it's so clear that he loves doing this.I am so grateful that we can have a little access to his way of handling the process of stepping into roles. The research he's doing is so complex and detailed. I am amazed how he cares about the character and how it influence his relationship with the directors, so everybody can grow up by this. Hats off, mr. Ryding. And I am very thankful to Vardet creator(s?) that this interview was about Edvin as an actor not only about Young Royals. Thank you for the questions and also for the translation, though I have to say I really love Swedish. Hope one day I learn it to listen your works without the need of subs. hmm i see both sides of the straight actors shouldn’t play gay roles, because while it is fiction, there is a disproportionately number of straight actors playing queer roles and out lgbt actors struggle to be casted in straight roles and if they aren’t being casted in queer roles how is that fair. i also think straight actors like edvin have a responsibility to bring light to disadvantage queer actors face because instead of complaining about queerbaiting accusations. Funny him talking about facing homophobia when he is straight man😭 bro should ask his costar omar who is queer about what he’s faced instead of victimising himself
