Hi my name is David, I love all things outdoors. Bushcraft, camping, camp cooking, hunting, fishing and hiking.
I am from the Midwest USA and have lived here most of my life. I love to just take my hammock out for a day hike and pick a random spot to cook up something good.
I look forward to taking you on my next adventure. Hope to talk to all of you soon. Thanks for stopping by!

Stormy solo hammock camp, chicken fried rice, coffee & Oatmeal
Hi everyone! I did a solo Stormy hammock camp with chicken fried rice, coffee & oatmeal. It was a great camp, it stormed all night till about 5 am. I had a great Stormy tarp setup that worked well and I stayed dry. Thanks for watching!

Onewind 12' hammock camp, chili mac & coffee, 29° F/ -1.6° c
Переглядів 261День тому
Hi everyone! Got a new Onewind 12' hammock to try out. The small hammock tarp I have is a little small if it was going to rain, but just to keep the dew off it works fine. I have a bigger tarp I will use when it rains or snows. My under quilt is a little on the small side as well. Hopefully I can pick up a Onewind under quilt as well. I had Chili Mac and coffee for dinner. I didn't have breakfa...

Yes it was. Thanks for watching brother!
Nice time in the woods. With the light show in the heavens, nice gentle rains.
@@mnmikeoutdoors8595 yes it was very relaxing. Definitely the work of our Lord ❤️ Thanks for watching brother!
That was a great little campout even with the rain, good food, I like that cover on your stove, and good brew in the morning, thanks for sharing with us, the field was nice open spot, was expecting a deer
@@NatureInspiredSnipsnSnaps yes it was a great camp. Usually I do see deer or hear them when I am there. Thanks for watching!!
Man, that was peaceful enough, I could have put it on repeat and fallen asleep to it! I'm not a big coffee drinker tho but I do the energy drinks instead.
@@adventureswithken1983 yeah I love the sound of rain hitting a tarp or tent for sure! I can do some energy drinks as well. Thanks for watching brother!!
Love the fire 🔥, rain 🌧️ and lightening ⚡! ♥️♥️
Thank you ❤️
Wow man, that was actually extremely peaceful! I love the thunder and the lightning in the rain! Did you get wet at all through the night? I need to camp out in a rainstorm someday
Yes it was really peaceful. No I stayed dry. My big tarp does a good job. Put it in porch mode to make breakfast. Thanks for watching brother!
What is it like turning over in that Crua ?
It's not bad, you just need to stay in the middle of the hammock when you are turning to your side. It's really comfortable. It's just not a hiking type of hammock
I like that slowed down fire , that is cool. That lightning was awesome
@@Nomadiccamping thank you! Yeah the fire is definitely my favorite part of camping
That Frappe looked good
It is pretty good for instant
Hello
@@Nomadiccamping Hello, thanks for watching brother!!

I recognize that bed!! Looks like a fun one!
I thought you might remember it lol. Thanks for watching brother!
@210outdoors2 yeah I remember sleeping on the wall and fighting for an hour to try and get back to on the floor
@OzarkGuy yeah you were having a lot of trouble with it for sure
Hey, you need to cut that tree up you might need it in January lol 1:57
@@OZARKSWOODSMAN LOL
@ 👍😂😂😂
Is there camping areas right there or do you have to camp further away or what?
@@OZARKSWOODSMAN yeah you have to hike further in the trail, some on the north end and south in the center
That’s a really nice place for sure I like it looks like their trails are well kept
@@OZARKSWOODSMAN yeah it is the newest state park in Missouri. That was the short trail. They have. 4.5 mile loop as well
Did you fish that spring?
@@mnmikeoutdoors8595 no I didn't get the chance, but I am definitely going back
Is this like a tourist attraction?
@@OzarkGuy No It's not really a tourist attraction, trout ranch and Game ranch. You can stay in cabins and camp down there
@210outdoors2 that sounds like fun!
♥️
Well that was a nice little stroll.. I never get tired of seeing the woods! Is that place any close to where we camped? Oh wait, that's a state park...
@@OzarkGuy Yes it was beautiful, they have two primitive camping areas there. So we can camp there, you have to hike in though
Estupenda la hamaca 👍
Thank you, appreciate you watching
