I got interested in this film bc I loved Taekwondo - thought it was 1 of the best movies I’ve ever seen, then wondered y it wasn’t the director’s highest rated. There’s something about this film that audiences love. But … well … I think this film might b 2 grim 4 me. Only watched a few clips & just wanted 2 spoil myself. It makes me wonder if smth (esp smth 🌈) is perceived better if it’s sad. There’s a gr8 message 2 this film but it’s smth I’d rather experience in a summary than a film. If I am correct that sadness connotes quality, then I hope we can learn 2 find brilliance in the light-hearted. Umm … str8 attraction. That is a very academic topic 2 me. When I’m learning about it in sociology, I always feel like there r some extremely complex philosophical implications from that research. The justifications point 2 a performative role of identity - that we politically exist though fulfilling social roles. On the other hand, our common urge is 2 assign identities based on essential qualities. I.e., ur attraction determines ur sexuality. I believe identity is intertwined with politics. U take a political role or marker based on where u want 2 stand or c urself. 2 encapsul8, sexuality is political identity. Therefore, it cannot rlly b distanced from the role u wanna take. The way I choose 2 perceive str8 attraction is contextualising them as male-attracted but str8-acting. & that’s not disrespecting their choice of label. A label is the individual’s choice & not mine. But u can’t deny what exists. Y’know, 4 me, my attraction is basically just men … sometimes it’s just ever slightly smth else that I can’t rlly describe … it’s not fluid but it’s not strict or solid. I still choose a gay label & the political implications that it comes with bc I want 2 take that social role & I think it can best describe me. & I’m not gonna care if some1 else called themselves gay but there were a few things that pointed otherwise bc it’s their own decision how they should label.

Nice movie, but I fell asleep towards the end.

This movie is my absolute favorite. Cry my eyes out every single time I watch it.

Love the opening title. It's really well designed and animated 😆 you're editing skills are getting better. I don't know the show, but I liked how you reviewed it and I was able to follow along due to that. There was a weird glitch that happened between the 4:30 to 5 minute mark. There was a black image that appeared for a few seconds

So if you're a man having sex with another man, you're no longer a straight man, you're a gay man. Or possibly bisexual. The lengths some people go through to avoid association with our community are... Baffling. Though, I'd be completely happy with no labels at all. Then we can stop putting people in a box and just live! But again, there's no such thing as straight man having sex with other men. That's gay. Period 🤷🏽‍♀️
