how to disassemble / strip a BRNO MOD 2/CZ 452.
The Irish army used an FN rifle that could be fired in single round AND automatic. Unlike the British version.
To give context to the event. The bren was a much loved section weapon in the Irish Army. So much so, that it was included in sniper range practice and competitions, in single shot mode.As a reserve soldier in the eighties, I fired the bren on range practice, so it is Absolutely credible that the sniper could have used the bren, as he had done so in competitions.
Both are valid platforms, I just find it very amusing when someone hates on the gun
I don’t see a reassembly video. Still looking for that little ball bearing that shot across the room on the 4th assembly try. Hypothetically.
Who doesn’t do this
I bought a Hatsan 410 Escort PS. I oiled it up, put it together and took it dove hunting. I had a bunch of fail to fire. It just clicks, no primer strikes. Have you had that issue before? I have not been able to fire more than two rounds. Sometimes it just won't shoot. Sometimes I pull the trigger and just hear a click, then the bolt is stuck with a live round in the chamber. I love the gun, but may trash it if I can't figure the ussue out.
Good video, on the barrel bands the screw heads should be on the left side.
Hey I’ve done the same thing as you and for my no 4 I can’t get the lower stock off it’s stuck near the receiver at the very back and I noticed that my rear stock was a little loose could that have anything to do with it
See your at yeaveley...say hi to guy from me!
I feel like I got blue balled by the way this clip is cut
@thenerdbird5596 😂 I can make a longer one, but then no one will view it 🤷♂️
Good enough for me I’ll take 5
Hi just subscribed, hoping to buy a hatsan escort, just wondering what your opinion is on it, looks like a reasonably nice semi auto for the money.
its not a "shadow 2" its more of a cz tactical sport 2
Hey mate, I took mine out of the stock for the first time ever to put in a new trigger spring and put a new mainspring in the bolt but I seem to have lost a bit of accuracy and am wondering if it’s my action screw torque. I don’t have a torque trench and I’m just not sure if it’s too tight or too loose
Can’t even own semi auto in your country. What a joke.
Long barrel, some wierd extention attached. All this to make it legal in U.K but still he has a regular glock in the holster, how come?
I appreciate your video. I just bought a new CZ 457 premium and used your video to remove the rear sight. I think I remember that it was the same way I removed the rear sight on my old Mausers, but I didn’t remember for sure. Thanks.
Are you a British gun owner? If so what’s the process like for getting a rifle? My audience is pretty curious on topics like that.
Perfect firing rate ❤
Thanks for the video much appreciated 👍
Why isn't it cycling? Is it jammed?
It is to make it legal for the British market! (Gas system disabled)
There may well be times when a full stock removal may be necessary, but these rifles were stocked up very carefully on initial build to achieve the required accuracy standard. Subsequent unnecessary removal of the wood may well have a very negative effect on that accuracy and as such, should only be carried out by someone who really knows what they are doing.
KMR are actually the guys that do the Orange models for CZ. I'm considering picking up an S-02 this year!
Exactly and a Great advice too👍
Knew someone who recreated the wooden parts with a laser printer. Seemed okay and he said it wouldn't warp. First time he used it... he blew his cock off.
If you want to increase the accuracy of your Mini 14 there is a simple method which can work for most any rifle. First thing first. Some rifles like the Remington Pump guns actually have a free floating barrel. Even most bolt actions are free floating. Now the solution or a solution is to dampening the vibration rate of the barrel. Since the barrel first and foremost is attached to the receiver which might be considered as a wing attached to a fuselage. What one can do is place a dampening or a nondampening block at the quarter chord of the barrel forward of the receiver. The barrel will flex but the key is to match the vibration for an optimization for when precisely the bullet exits the barrel. Now couple this with cast acrylic sabot that disintegrates upon exiting the barrel sending a pristine round down range with complete ballistic stability and increased terminal velocity and no internal ballistic data on the round. A dab of Silicone on the Primer and the inside if the chamber and the consistency is improved with many impulse inputs are minimized. Play with it. Let us know.
When is this video from. as that variant is not in use anymore, i believe .
A couple of years ago, you are correct! Such a shame as it was an incredible piece of kit!!
Is that a bsa
It's an old CZ I restored!
@@toolittletimeUK I love them old 22s. Accurate too. Too boring for the modern shooter but I'd rather one of them than a fango dango. Go on forever
Correct way! 💪🏼
Thanks for watching!
The backround is so dark Sir. we cant clear the video.
I do apologise! UA-cam will not allow me to edit the video! Possibly try turning brightness up on your device?
@@toolittletimeUKI think he means the gun mat being black makes it hard to see the gun parts clearly
My uncle always said it was a 75yd gun
I can shoot my pistol that far!
Is this stripdown sufficient to clean the rifle when using corrosive ammo, or should the trigger set and bolt be disassembled as well? Great video, by the way.
I would try to avoid using corrosive ammunition if at all possible! For the amount of time it takes it wouldn't hurt to go more in depth, but at a minimum just apply some oil onto the harder to reach parts to protect them. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your great films :) I have the same rifle and would like to restore it when bedding and correcting the stock. What is the wood stripper you applied for the stock? What is the type and its consistence - a gel, a paste or a wet powder?
Thank you for watching! I used No Nonsense Paint Stripper, its inexpensive and works well! I'd say more of a paste consistency, try searching for it for more details! Once it had done its job I washed it in warm water and let it dry for several days. I hope this helps!
The magazine looks a little different, has this one been rechambered for .308 Winchester/7.62x51?
It has! Quite a rare example. Thank you for watchiing!
They are also very accurate, or can be made so if not by adjusting the tension on the barrel from the stock.
I believe it was accurized when it was re-chambered!
Is this lsw still in service?
Sadly not, a BIG mistake!
I love my 1943 Long Branch Arsenal Lee Enfield. My Dad trained on one in the Canadian expeditionary and had great respect for that rifle. He ended up carrying a Bren gun in WW II.
They are excellent rifles indeed! Very nice! I'm looking at getting my hands on a Bren soon!! Thank you for watching!
Sir, i also do service on a rifle about 10 years and i can garantie you that with a K31 or K11 im faster
I own several Schmidt Rubin and Enfield rifles and I'm an experienced marksman with military training. Sir, your statement is wrong.
Do you own an Enfield and did you ever compete against someone using one?
I'd be interested to see that! I'm NO expert on an Enfield and I was still fast. I believe this was the second time I'd used it. Also an ex military marksman. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the detailed information very informative 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!
Don't run the magazine dry, no neet to charge. One less step . . . ☆
Very true!
I'm not sure that settled anything about accuracy other than it likes one ammo better , you'd have to fire more rounds , get it back to semi-auto and probably just shoot as close to stock as possible , like the plain sights .
It was a quick test to see if the rifle as it was could pull off a good group 😀I am now doing more research, so keep an eye out and thanks for watching!
I trust you more because you're British i love the lee enfield action feels so snappy on close..
It’s a beautiful rifle! Thanks for watching! More to follow!
I need 900000000000000 of those to buy ok
😂
I need all of those to buy ok

hello mate! lovely video but small question see mine is pinned at 2:22 you can see near the wrist plate above the trigger there's a little pin mine is a no.4 mk1/2 and the bottom stock won't budge and it seems connected to that lil pin have you any idea how to remove the lil bastard?
Cheers buddy, is there a small screw on one side of it?
@@toolittletimeUK Yes
That small screw is what held mine together! Let me know how you get on!
He wants to check the accuracy of the ammunition off hand. Proceeds to benchrest.
Cheers for watching! More updates to follow!
Actually the first thing you do is make sure the firearm is unloaded.😐 Silly to you maybe but you may save a life by mentioning it or cause a death by not mentioning it.😑
Very valid comment, I do not disagree! I would however expect that should go without saying! ANYONE touching a firearm should have training beforehand.
The Savage and Long Branch No. 4’s didn’t have the bolt removal button, they had a cut out at the same point to allow you to rotate the bolt head.
The American and Canadian versions?
@@toolittletimeUK that’s correct, in the UK the No. 4 was built at RSA Enfield just north of London and RSA Fazackerley in Liverpool, in Canada they were built at Long Branch armoury and Savage built them in the USA under Lend Lease. For some reason Australia never adopted the No. 4 and continued to build the No. 1 Mk. 3, and they used it into the 1950’s, taking it to Korea.
Why are you having to manually chamber each round?
The Gas system has been disabled unfortunately! Thanks for watching!
How about just why not buy a dessert eagle !! They sure are purty
Oh they are!!
