It used to be someone close to the singer. Not very close though. The singer always had feelings towards "him" but "him" never reciprocated and had relationship with another. At the present moment however it seems that "him" is acting a little more openly and "the singer" cannot believe that this is not just a prevention, but real change of attitude.
