McKeen's Hockey 2024 NHL Draft | Early Top 32 Rankings
I'm debating about Hagens, Martone and Misa will have to wait until near the end of the season to decide.
NHL draft pros is part of McKeen's?
of course it’s a Canadian making this list
Really be interesting to see players move around in the rankings based on this year's play, Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching! Gonna be a lot of movement throughout the season in the rankings.
Hagens ahead of Misa and Martone 🤣🤣🤣
NCAA is a significantly more competitive league. Points aren't comparable.
@@0SGE0 lol I've watched ncaa hockey it isn't that much more competitive. It doesn't have as many high end skilled players and just has a bunch of people in their 20s. If Misa or Martone were there they'd be one of the best players in the league. Hagens isn't even the best on his team.
@@UTDfan97893 NHL teams should be fighting to get you as a scout! You’ve cracked the code!
You are 100 percent right hagens is 3 and this guy thinks he’s good defensively buddy never gets back so how would they know
1:40 Celebrating right in the blue paint is such a power move
So glad the Sharks snagged him. Gonna be a great addition to that core.
He really picks and chooses his times to play offensive, like a little less than Quinn Hughes but a little more effective than Hughes from what I’ve seen. Hughes kinda just circles around and makes a million sharp turns and throws random shots that sometimes go in and sometimes don’t but it’s dangerous which is why he probably scored and assisted so much but Zeev seems a little more precise and predictable which helps his team set up and get open for one-time plays. He really makes the most out of the space he has.
Reminds me of Brent Burns
Habs need a top line center and move suzzuki to the 2nd line. now we have RWO good lines.
Habs geet amidov a top center.
Demidov will be as good ss the centeR the Habs add for him.
So the Sharks ended up with both #1 and #2 prospect in the same draft? Perfect 😊
Welcome to the Ontario Reign for the next 5 freakin years. Kings Development of forwards is absolute trash.
Welcome to San Jose! Shark's prospect pool starting to look fierce
Respectfully, Seattle isn't going to draft a forward. They have ZERO up-and-coming D-man prospects in the pipe. Tons of forwards on deck. Would have been nice for you to actually talk to somebody who follows the Kraken for that one. If it goes how you say it goes for the first 7 they will draft Zayne Parekh.
i miss the print edition of mckeen's
The Blackhawks are drafting Demidov!
Ducks ain’t picking Silayev.
Pavel Mintyukov went 10th.
No,no,no, if Habs management team wants taken seriously; they pick Zeev Buium before Lindstrom.
Why ever stop a mock at top 10? Do a list of the nonplayoff teams. Seriously
There is no scenario where Seattle takes Sennecke over Tij Iginla. If you think about Ron Francis, Seattle ownership and the culture of the team, there is no way it would happen. If Buium and Dickinson are off the table and Iginla is still there, Seattle is taking him.
This is how the top 10 draft is going. 1. Sharks - Celebrini (obvious) 2. Blackhawks - Demidov (hawks NEED OFFENSE) 3. Anaheim - Cayden lindstrom (Zegras might be gone get a big forward) 4. Columbus - Sam Dickinson 5. Montreal - Anton Silyalev get a bigger back end 6. UTAH - Tij Iginla (Need a face of the franchise who other than son of a hall of famer) 7. Ottawa - Zayne parekh or Beckket Sennecke or Levshunov 8. Seattle - zeev Buium 9. Calgary - Konsta Helenius big Center to fit right in with their young core 10. NJ - Berkeley Catton (NJ plays small and this guy and would fit their scheme.)
Stop it with the Levshunov pick at 2. Hawks have an absurd amount of defensive prospects. We need players who can score and produce points. Levshunov will not change the hawks if we draft him. They need offense they need people to create and they need people to score.
I agree but unfortunately from the reports I have read the Blackhawks are leaning towards Levshunov. I think it is terrible since they already have plenty of d and an offensive defenseman in korchinski
don't see the habs taking lindstrom, reported that neck injury is a disk problem,
Why does everyone on YT think the Bhawks are gonna pass on Demidov? or do they just hope the Bhawks don’t get him?
Seriously, Just dumb ! Don’t waste a minute watching this .
Wait this is the same guy from NHL Draft Pros right?
We are taking Silayev at 3OA what are u smoking?
Some people are saying they can play Silayev on the right side but Silayev is a left hand shot and Verbeek has said he prefers to play players on their shooting side. Ducks also have a lot of LHD's right now and taking another seems silly unless the Ducks are so enamored with Silayev's size they're willing to overlook pretty much everything including the fact that he will be in the KHL for another 2 years. Seems like a pretty poor fit overall.
This is the highest I've seen Helenius. Everyone else has him exactly 12th. Everyone picking Iginla for Calgary seems silly, until you realize the guy with The Mother Of All Tiebreaks is about the 9th best prospect.
You think San Jose should announce it now? I kind of thought the General Manager saying "Yes, we're taking Macklin" was enough.
Demidov should be the pick at #2
I do not want Blackhawks drafting levshunov... please Kyle bring demidov home!!
Levshunov the next Cody Ceci
Somebody needs a new television. The television I watched showed me a Hawks franchise that set an all-time low in scoring. With Jones, Vlassic, Korchinsky, and several other promising defensemen coming up the pipeline, it's outrageous to think they'd pass on Demidov. The Hawks have Bedard, Nazar, and then crickets.
Except Jones is 29 by the time you are contenders and all the "promising" young defensemen graduates you still don't have that powerhouse clear cut leader on defense. Picking "that guy" right now is as valid an option as picking demidov. At the end of the day the blackhawks have too many holes right now to fill to overlook any options.
Oliver Moore is a great prospect too
Parekh sliding past Ottawa and Seattle is nuts.
I said the same thing. Seattle isn't taking a forward, they have tons of them in the pipeline and no real D-man prospects at all. Kind of hurt their credibility with that one.
Explain to Duck fans how Mintyukov isn’t Russian…..these mock drafts are wack af. And Anaheim has way too many left handed defenseman 🤦♂️
Ducks are not picking Silayev.. Ottawa is not picking dickenson and Seattle isn’t picking Senneke.. Sj- Celebrini Chi- Levshunov Ana- Senneke Cbj- Demidov Mtl- Lindstrom Utah- Buium Ott- Parrehk Sea- Dickenson Cal- Iginla Nj- Silayev
Verbeek Ducks GM was in Florida and talked to Ivan Demidov during the combine this week. There would be no reason to goto that combine himself when he could have sent scouts instead
Hate the Levshunov pick.
What in Tarnation
@@tomslick2058 he’s a number 1 defenseman. And a right shot D. Chicago needs all the help they can get on defense because Seth Jones isn’t the answer and Zaitsev isn’t the answer. They have no TRUE right handed defenseman who has potential number 1 pairing
I’m hoping & praying MTL can draft both Lindstrom & Iginla. Trade to draft higher up or at least a similar scenario with to other offensive prospect players. We need more goals & special teams gifted specialist players. Again I’m really 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Ducks are not using a 3OA on a defensive D man. You are out of your mind. Especially with Z’s future in question, need on the right side wing and need for scoring. Try again. Like you said. Noah Warren and stacked D prospects… additionally Verbeek has stated he’s picking up a top 4 Vet RD. It’s getting congested on the back end. They can protect 7 offenders in upcoming expansions and are looking to increase their depth up front. Hope that makes sense.
I couldn't agree more. You don't use a 3 overall pick on silayev. It's Demidov or Levhshunov.
Tristan Luneau, Tyson Hinds, Zellweger, Noah Warren. This dudes mock draft has to be the worst I’ve seen all week 🤦♂️ and we’re taking another left handed D fail
Thank you for spitting facts, Silayev would be such a waste of a pick
It’s rumoured the ducks are very interested in silayev so that’s probably why he places him there
@@adamjanks4966 yah I been reading that as well. Verbeek will be fired very soon. Anaheim doesn’t need anymore left D and Silayev is still signed for 2 more years in Russia. Last thing Anaheim needs is a another damn left handed D
He and Leshunov #1 or #2 hands down. Take your pick. He did 17 pulls at the combine. Imagine when he weighs 210 or 220
His role in the top prospects game is what I see him doing in the NHL. I think hes highly underrated
Habs please, reinbacher and hutson on one pair and dickinson guhle(he played right side this year) would be an amazing top 4. We can always trade mailloux/xhekaj etc… plus the Winnipeg pick to get a forward. At 5, i will always go with the best player available
IMO he’s the best d in the draft and potentially a near generational player
Have your impressions changed since the U18s?
Get a guy who knows how to pronounce the names properly. Come on draft pros this is what you do.
Dickinson over Demidov is pretty wild 😅 But, I respect everyone’s opinion P.S. : Sick beat in the background
All true, generational talent. That said, championship caliber teams pretty much neutralized him in the Beanpot, HE and NCAA Championships. The same will be true in NHL. He would be wise to benefit from another year at BU.
Macklin to the Sharks and Cole Eiserman as his wingman.
