I began to work with some rescue groups to pull dogs that were in dire situations in shelters, and I began to rehab them. The process worked out very well for the dogs and those receiving them. I know about the breeds and how they typically act but I begin to learn about thier personality then I know what situation the dog will thrive in. When the dog is in the perfect spot, the humans win every time.
I work to get them into a working situation but sometimes the dogs personallity does not fit this so I keep this in mind when looking for the perfect spot for the dogs. My goal is to get the dog into thier permanant home as soon as possible and not keep 100 dogs. I rehab as many dogs as I can feed and house. Sometimes I just will rehome dogs or find the right dog for someone. I will give support for the life of the dog once it is in its new home. For me it is all about the dog. Meet Kiyomi! She is scared but coming around. Kiyomi was a house pet and attacked the dogs in the house. The lady had no real control so she took over. Kiyomi is a very sweet girl and young.

Snowie is a very good dog. She is good with lead and my commands. She is not good with dogs or sheep.

Ponch is a real pleasure to hang out with. He has a very good smile and he is great around all the dogs. Ponch will be good around sheep one day!

Bear is a good dog and she is loosing weight. She is less reactive and listens well to me.

I have some similar hardware which I use for hoisting heavy stuff in an industrial setting, now mine I can put a wrench to but I am going to see if on my smaller locking dlinks or carabiners (similar to yours) can be pinned say using a cotter pin or something similar. I'll see the gauge of the cables on our fall arrest at work I can say that the cable on those saved me a year and a half ago.

Kelano is gorgeous - I have a 6 year old Caucasian Mountain Shepherd - they're just the best. Hope his transition to the new home is smooth. So good of you to take these LGDs in - bless you!!
I find porridge oats do well at filling out and helping the gut biome to regulate when they are getting settled.
