Ok... so I found this 4 years after you posted it... but thank you so much for doing so! I've been experiementing and playing around with 3D floors and portals in UDMF for a little bit now, but I had *no idea* a 3D floor control sector could be duplicated and set to different heights to create multiple floors beyond a ground floor and 1st floor! :O I've been working on a TARDIS for a project idea and had been thinking the library was going to have to be representative, rather than accurate. I can now create multiple library floors thanks to you! XD

There is a strange scaling situation I don't fully understand yet. ModelDef is 1/1/1 and in UDB its 1/1. But its interesting that lets say you wanted to import a vertical steel girder that touches the floor and touches the ceiling. When you have it set up correctly in 3d obj in order for it to line up properly in Doom you have to scale it vertical to 1.2. This stretches the model. With that its now matching the celling height but is stretched. Kinda funky and I don't fully understand how this works. The workaround is to scale your 3d model 1.2 in the other direction to compensate. I also wish you could move the object base off the floor. At runtime all objecs are pinned to the floor of the sector they are in. May be some ACS could fix that. In the example of the girder it means you can't take the same exact model in UDB and have it float in the air. UDB looks fine but runtime GZDoom it will be back down.

Gracias hermano saludo desde Venezuela latin american , e intentado de importar obj desde blender y cinema4d a doom builder 2 pero cuando importo mi modelo obj, no carga bien el modelo como el mapa de counter strike de doom2nemesis, ahora que veo tu video probare. Doom2nesis dice en uno de sus video que con el programa noesis convertir el modelo obj a md3 y luego md3 a obj otra ves y segun el el doom builder 2 lo carga bien ya hice ese metodo y nada que sirvio un co.. de la madre, pero probare con el tulló si me resulta , te dare todos los like, Descubri que Half-life de valve usa idtech 1 y reconoce todos los bsp y pak de Quake1, las textura se puede modificar usando slade3+pak file explorer, y ya el motor Godot engine importar los BPS de quake pero tienes que usar la plantilla QodotPlugin/qodot-plugin: (LEGACY) Quake .map lo encuentra en githbu. Para Generar codigo automaticamente para importar md3 a doombuilder puedes usar la app modeldef generator for GZDoom. 😊
