Whatever these maskless congresspersons think of the efficacy or otherwise of masks, they are showing a total lack of respect for their colleagues (with their smug expressions to boot). They clearly are not deserving of, and are a disgrace to, the public office they hold. If they show such utter contempt towards their colleagues' sensibilities and beliefs, I dread to think what attitude they hold towards the electorate they are supposed to be serving. Here is a tiny, but highly revealing, window into the depravity and bankruptness of American politics (which is tragically a microcosm of American society) today: "this is my belief _(x)_ regarding coronavirus protections, and I couldn't give a friggin' figleaf regarding your beliefs and sensibilities _(y)_ in terms of my behaviour in a crowded and enclosed room." With arrogant and inconsiderate politicians (and citizens) such as these, God help America.

All of these accusations against Governor Cuomo are racist against Italians. You people know darn well that Italians always touch and kiss (each other) during a greeting. It's part of their culture... have you people seen "The Godfather?" Governor Cuomo was simply behaving according to his Italian traditions.

Now that Republicans are getting death threats, they change their tune. This is the guy that fostered violence by pushing propaganda that he knew was a lie. He does not belong in Congress. He should be thrown out of Congress but, at a minimum, removed from all leadership positions. He is a danger to America.
