So Zeliard is really awesome but is starting to show its teeth. We start our adventure in a new town, fight another gelatinous cube, receive an elf crest to prove I'm a hero, and then find out I need 2500 Almas in order to buy an asbestos cloak so that I don't melt in the lava caverns. Right off the bat we gotta grind. Also the new town has an abysmal alma exchange rate so if I want to make any money, I've got to backtrack over to the previous town to exchange for gold and then do that platforming challenge just to get back.
The lava caverns themselves are also very devious. One area is filled with lots of invisible, one way walls described as air currents that block your path. Lots of tricky platforming to reach the boss who is the giant dragon you see in the thumbnail. Just getting to him is a problem and fighting him was also a problem until I decide to grind more money and get the best gear. So lots of grinding and failing jumps this time. But we push through in the end and claim another crystal thing.
