We visited Markandeya Hills in the auspicious month of Sawan, 2024. It is a one day trip from Bangalore and easily accessible through Bangalore Kolar Highway. The temple is open for offerings from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Pros * Weekend getaway * Good connectivity * Ancient Temple with scenic beauty all around Cons * Eateries are not available near the Temple * Washrooms are not maintained.
