Can the SCAG V-RIDE II Handle Steep Inclines And Tall, Wet Grass? Scag Vride 2 Demo
Thanks to Burdick Street Power Equipment for allowing me to demo the Scag V-Ride II. I used the Scag Vride 2 to service my residential lawn accounts. It tackled tall grass with ease and handled hills very well. I am interested in adding this lawn mower to my fleet, it was very productive for my lawn maintenance business.

Mowing with the Ballard Products Advanced Chute Blocker
Переглядів 13 тис.5 років тому
I recently installed the Ballard Products Advanced Chute Blocker on my Gravely Pro-Turn 460. It does well when it comes to keeping the grass out of landscape beds, off the house, out of the street, etc. however, it does leave clumps when it is closed. That is a trade off, but well worth it.

Stihl BR800C Review Video: Should You Buy the Stihl BR800C?
Переглядів 8 тис.5 років тому
This is a review video. We received the opportunity to demo a Stihl BR800C Backpack leaf blower from our local Stihl dealer. Burdick Street Power Equipment based out of Oxford, MI scheduled the demo. The machine has great power with combined mph and cfm. It outperforms it’s competitors, the Redmax EBZ8500 and the Echo PB8010T when it comes to mph and weight. However, it falls short in the cfm a...

If ya even research how OSHA requires for mowers to traverse on hills and slopes , ya would see most guys don’t know how to fully operate a commercial lawnmower properly and safely . We had a property that is 244 acres and it lots of big long hills and very steep ones . We mowed em with walk behind and sit down hydros . On my first day, my mower lost its traction and I slid all the way down but I knew how to correct it at the bottom and I was able to continue mowing . Ya really want a bigger buffer zone mowing near a water way . We also did large retention ponds and some guys would end up getting stuck , so I’d have to get em out with my mower.

I want a stand on mower that’s cut quality is that of a 22” Toro as they cut the grass and leaves so fine that it’s beneficial to the turf . The cut quality for this Scag isn’t a superior cut .

my landscape bss bought one last season a 32 inch. it works amazing i went to a scag section at a NHRA race and told them how my boss had one. he told me the best things about them is they are GREAT for cutting wet grass. when i got back from the track and used it that next week, I used it on a yard that had some tall wet grass and it went through it like it was NOTHING!!!

Had my BR800 for just over 2 years for use on my own property. The side start broke and the carburetor went out. Even though I bought an extended warranty I was told neither of these items were covered and the wanted $505.00 to fix it. That’s 80% of the cost to buy a new unit. This will be the last Stihl product I ever buy, especially since they won’t sell parts to anyone who isn’t a dealer. It would repair it myself if I could get the parts for about half the cost.

I'm running a Scag V-Ride 2 - 36", and I love the machine. Tons of power and speed. Maneuvers real nice. The 36" is not really supported by Scag very well in the sense that there's no bagging option, lights or OCDC, so you have to rely on the aftermarket for those items.
