Finish completion of my solar system. It has 3000 W of solar panels on the roof and all Victron components. Also using Samsung brand new old stock batteries purchase from batteryhookup.com that I had to disassemble and a put in a different configuration so I was able to use them in this application..

Why did you go the extra 1/2 on HIGH when paper only says to go 1/4?
was the fuel like related to the low psi from air compressor?
Turned out the gauge was the problem, when I changed the gauge, the psi was correct. Then we found the leak in the fuel.

I've seen those yamaha blocks crack in that same spot it. You can get a brand new bare block from SBT and put all your original parts in the new block with new bearing and rings. You are right about the SBT reman engines being hit or miss but the new bare block is a good part and then you can re assemble knowing everything is 100%

I've got 4 on my machines and 2 of them are on my z axis and they have all worked perfectly for the past 3 years. Perhaps you didn't shim them properly and tore them up.

Have a 2005 yama AR-210 with the LS2000 twin motors. Have mikuni rebuild kits for the carbs. Was interested if theres a final video showing how to adjust the hi and low jets after rebuild? Which is the mag and pto
pto is the back and mag the front end towards the bow. low's are 1 1/4 on M and C - P is 1 1/8th highs are 1/2 on M and P and 7/8 on C

IT's called a drive shaft holder WSM has them part number WR-004H OR WR-007H better to get both of them - not sure which size you need.
@@5StarPWC do you have any knowledge on cavitation? My 2001 xl 800 cavitates really bad on the whole shot almost like a slipping clutch. I just installed the pump seal kit filling all the cavities under the shoe and used RVT to seal the shoe and intake great back together but that did not help. The solas prop and plastic wear ring look fine to me. Just at a loss as to what else might need causing the cavitation. If I rock the ski on take off it’ll hook up and once on plane it rides normal. Thank you
Mine was exact same thing.. was the line filter near the pump. Blew out all sorts of crap from it, was back to normal. Full rpm all day long. Sorry this is a year late lol

Replacing the carbs with brand new OEM Mikunis fixed it.
@@5StarPWC Did you guy do anything with the RAVE valves at all? Was it all in the carbs? I'm having the same issue, almost identical symptoms. Carbs were completely rebuilt (done by pros under previous ownership - has receipt with breakdown of work done). Tinkered with the RAVE valves and have been able to get it to surge above 5k but without any consistency. Likes to get hung up around 4.5-5k. Would like to hear what you all did before I blindingly go dump $500 on new carbs. Thanks.

My 01 Yamaha waverunner xlt1200 cranks but won’t start I hear a noise in the fuel tank & also says it’s low on fuel but I have a full tank.(new battery-starter solenoid relay-spark plugs-)
Well right away after the leak down test was negative on that cylinder tells you you have to pull the head off to assess the valves . Yes spark plugs have been getting worse and worse through the years. Luckily, there are some tricks to get them out when they break .
They are called keepers bruv, keepers.... If the keepers popped of the valve head, the valve and or seat is compromised. Those plug threads in #1 are hammered and will continue to cross the plug when bottomed. The C series NGK plugs will break off like that when the threads are gulled.
Would the starving for fuel cause the engine to not go above 3000rpms? We have an LX2000 yahama that we get both engines up to 3000rpm at a bit less than 1/2 throttle. If we go above that both engines cut back no matter how high we go? We have flushed out the cooling systems and are getting good telltale water out the side of the boat? We are starting to get stumped on this one.
Those motors will last a lot longer with genuine mikuni kits through all 6 carbs, notice how in this video he is jetting them a little rich for safety, if you do them yourself you know all 12 jets are correct, boat will be so much more with full power, gummed up carbs with unknown jet settings could result in one or both engines with life expectancy measured in minutes, a pet-2000 tachometer which is accurate will also confirm you have jetting right
There is a video of an ls2000 on a trailer backed into a concrete water tank, this shop just rebuild both motors and re kited carbs, notice how he can blip the throttle and both motors respond so quickly, they also go back to idle quickly, slow back to idle is lean and if the motors dip below idle or stall to rich, accurate tach will help diagnose lean high speed jets, at full throttle if rpm keeps falling too lean death 💀 is near

@@seangreene64 😂 wrong - there are at least three different thread sizes used M14 - M12 and these smallest and weakest M10’s.
You can use twine or kite string in the cylinder as well to hold the valve up. That head needs to come off regardless. That engine appears to be a junk design.
I have seen another rebuild video covering these carbs and he said you do not need the diaphram rubber and plastic in the carb that does not have the fuel pump which i thought was odd?
@@andywilkins-f5x that’s actually true, only if there is a fuel pump.
Pretty sure it's not a fuel issue but an ignition issue, had a ski doing the same thing and it ran perfectly with a new cdi
