@@daknockout1977 I would put everything on Auto, leave it on AI mode, and maybe add an ND 2 or ND 4 lens filter. This should produce excellent results.

I don't own this camera anymore. If I remember right, when shooting in 24fps the shutter speed is automatically set.

I didn't have any problems with the autofocus using this camcorder. If you're tracking subjects try using Ai mode, or you could try shooting in manual mode. Hope this helps.

The inbuilt microphone was used to record the audio for this video. This seems like it would work very well. On the other hand, an external microphone could reduce a lot of background noise and provide a superior result. Perhaps a Rode on-camera microphone might perform more effectively.

Fujifilm 35mm f1.4

Shot using Eterna profile. I used the Fujifilm 35mm f1.4 lens and the colors really pop with that lens. I graded the footage with a Fujifilm LUT. The Eterna profile is similar to F-log, in that it gives you more dynamic range when editing.

The diner is generally really busy. I visited on a quiet day. They definitely don't need me for advertising. I color graded the footage so the video appears a lot darker than in real life. Trying to get that filmic look. 😂

The 90mm f2 on Fujifilm X-H1 is around 135mm full frame. The lens has great quality. I normally shoot between 28mm and 50mm. The Fujifilm 90mm f2 is optically excellent and weather sealed.

@@photobritain I did not appreciate weather sealing enough when I got started! Being able to fearlessly take pictures even if it's raining, is MASSIVELY underrated.

I use Davinci and used a freely available LUT which i tweaked to suit. Had to be careful though as the X -H1 is only 8 bit color. I was surprised how much I could push 8 bit before it breaks down.

I shot this in Enterna profile. It's similar to F-log and gives you more dynamic range when editing.

Hi Roger, I always had Uv/ir filters attached to the lens with the M8. I always shoot DNG with Leica digital.

I mainly used the Leitz 21mm f2.8 Elmarit-M which gave me a focal distance of around 28mm. Also used the Leica 35mm f2.5. Both lenses are super sharp.

Leica 35mm summarit f2.5 on the M9 and Leica 21mm elmarit-m f2.8 on the M8. Both are sharp lenses in good light.

Thanks Mark, I wish I had captured more of the market. Low battery warning flashed so had to RTH. A lot of the footage was scrappy due to inexperience. Overall pleased with first fly. 😁
