Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) works to promote the development of entrepreneurship and build a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ethiopia. Moreover, EDI strives to equip all citizens with an entrepreneurial mindset and mold their attitudes accordingly in order to sustainably alleviate the rampant joblessness and under-employment in the country through building on indigenous cultures and knowledge to generate problem-solving solutions and novel ways of doing things.
