The Greatest commandment has been on my mind so much lately…..This is a message the world needs to hear…. Love fulfils all the commandments and there is not enough going around…..like there is not enough food going around…. As long as we have kids starving it is a reminder that love is in short supply….

Great sermon, thought provoking and definitive of one attempting to mix Earthly gains/pleasures in justification with Biblical teachings ...

“Slaves to the Lord”….. I’m not so sure about that my son….I’m sure you will have scriptures to back that though…. My take is based in this scripture ….. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made (John 15:12 - 15:15 KJV) known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another (John 15:15 - 15:17 KJV)

Great sermon… it’s sounded like “Jared Washer”…..in part…..great message…. 🙏🏼… Paul Washer is one of my favourite preachers …. The true church is defined by love…. True, proper, real love rooted even in denying oneself for your fellow man… in fact laying down your life for your fellow man…there is no greater love than that… A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:34 - 13:35 KJV)

I feel a part of the precious community of Knysna Baptist, even though I am only able to be nearby once a year. I live in Cape Town! I do want to share my gratitude with how the Word is opened up to those who worship at Knysna Baptist. Psalm 47 has been opened up today, with huge care, love and gravity as to what is our obligation, not only not be afraid to profess our allegiance to our King of Kings, but to be convicted to be super aware of how much we allow the Holy Spirit to enable us to witness by how we think, speak and act out our faith and belief. Thank you to all Malcolm's replacements, whilst he is enjoying time off with his family! The Christmas message was awesome, Claude, also on Song of Songs, and the number of sermons as prepared by this young man today! Bless you. Much love Fay Bijker
