If free I will go for Ducati. If have to purchase I choose tenere

How can anyone take this seriously when you’re doing a comparison stood in a Ducati dealership? Ducati is a nice bike and probably better for on road touring but two major drawbacks in my view, no quick access to the air filter and a “return to dealer” advice in the owner manual to adjust the chain, possibly due to the 180nm torque setting on the back wheel.

Ducati is king at starbucks……….but the t7 is a better allrounder ,

1. Access to airfilter. T7 wins. Direct access. 2. Engine compression rate for lower quality fuel in third world countries. T7 wins. Lower C. RATE. 3. Rake angle. T7 wins. More moto cross. 4. Reliable engine. T7 wins. CP2 with linear performance. 5. Fuel range. Desert X wins. 21liter. 6. Tires. Desert X wins, tubeless. 7. Electronic. T7 wins. Less BS. 8. Wet and C of G. T7. Ligther. If you go deep into no man's land and you have nothing but your self and your bike, T7 is no brainer. Desert X is more for wannaB dakar vibe with dealer nearby to sort out your probles when shit doesnt work suddenly.

Common point They both have two wheels. Differences.........Everything else. Especially with the price difference, these two are not suitable for any comparison

Do Ducati change the springs front and back to suit rider weight? This is a puzzle for me - it seems most riders need this. Electronic adjustments can't do that.

Nothing against this because of course i love it. Your dropping 70k plus for this and its not got anything but the suit. Im buying a used SP2 w/ 650 miles on it and plan to put some replica fairings on with quick disconects so i can wear what i want when i want. Painted fairings are 2k. Hey if you have this kind of money that's like a pair of shoes.
