Jazakallah khayr for the film, I did not realize how merciful Allah is when he gave muslims boundaries. It seems that the boundaries are limiting or making us feel inferior. Examples are married or unmarried women should stay in their house. It is a protection for them. Also, unmarried male and female should not stay in an empty room alone. This is a protection for committing haram.

Actually, I didn’t use to watch movies a lot, but the name of this one caught my attention. It’s about Musa’s life (the Imam’s son). I felt very bad while watching this movie because it’s based on a true story. Yes, shaitan exists-I believe that. But our nafs, especially when we forget Allah, works with shaitan. This movie shows why men and women should never be left alone! Trusting people you don’t know and taking things that can harm your health is not a good idea. Here’s why I think so: Musa had mental problems after his father’s funeral. He couldn’t sleep well and went to a doctor, but the medicine didn’t help. Then, an imaginary stranger appeared and suggested herbal remedies for his health. Musa trusted him and started taking those 'drugs.' Because he trusted a stranger and used these illegal, unknown drugs, Musa made many terrible mistakes (sins). First, there was a girl named Mariam. Musa was friends with her brothers, who had to leave home and move far away. They asked Musa to take care of their sister. Musa and Mariam started talking and getting closer to each other. One day, they spent the night together, and because Musa was addicted to drugs and out of control, they committed zina! Later, Mariam told Musa she was pregnant, but he ignored her. One day, he accidentally pushed her, and she fell down the stairs. While taking her to a place where no one could find her, Musa was with his imaginary 'friend.' Mariam began to show signs of life, but this 'friend' didn’t let her live. In the end, she died. For a moment, Musa thought it was all a dream, but it wasn’t. After some time, Mariam’s brothers returned and learned what had happened to their sister. The police came to arrest Musa. When they broke into his house, they found that he had committed suicide and ended his life. I was shocked after watching this movie! The name "Righteous Sinner" refers to Musa being the son of an Imam in the mosque. He had even started teaching Qur'an to young children, which shows he was a good person. However, no matter how good we are, we all have nafs. Our love for Allah should stop us from committing not only major sins but also small ones. Thanks🥲🥲
