One of the fave Filipino desserts is Brazo de Mercedes. It’s a fluffy custard filled cake and normally in a ‘log’ form. However, this is wifey’s first attempt to bake it in a cupcake form. Since this is a first attempt, definitely it will not be the last. We bought Soxie, our adopted rescue cat, a new toy. We thought she’ll be crazy about the toy as it makes sounds whenever it’s touched or moved, but nope! It doesn’t interest her unless you play it with her. So hubby found a string and attached to the toy and thay’s where the fun begun … :-)

Aww 🥰 I have no idea why UA-cam sent me this video but this made my day. Tuxedo cats are so sweet. I still miss mine that died quickly from cancer last year. They're so special.

She reminds me a lot of my tuxedo cat who passed away near Christmas last year. She was the best cat. Looks like Soxie is going to be a great cat for you, too.
So sorry to hear that. We also lost two of our himalayan cats (brothers) just months apart after 16 years of togetherness. We still miss them so much and just so happy to have met Soxie. We can’t wait to create and capture video memories of her with us to share in this channel. Take care.
