Coming home to Ireland from Manchester via Holyhead on the ferry, my only problem with the LUAS is that there is no LUAS line from the Irish Ferries and Stena Terminals via Dublin Docklands Rail station into the City Centre - I’ve lived 22 years in Manchester and I have family in Dunshaughlin Co Meath, but I used to live in Stoneybatter for 3 years before 2002 - my last visit home was in October 2022 and I’m hoping that my next visit, the M3 Parkway line will be extended to Navan which will make travelling home that little bit easier - I use the DART a lot when I come home, as I visit my late Dad’s former employers (and my friends) Sr Brigid & Sr Carmel in the Poor Clare Convent behind the RDS (Sandymount DART) - last time I was home, I stayed in Bewley’s Hotel in Ballsbridge for my 53rd Birthday celebrations as my 50th birthday was in lockdown here in the U.K. - as I get older, I find that I’m less drawn to big cities as I was in my youth and more so to rural areas, so over the years coming home on the ferries, I’ve been amazed at how Dunshaughlin has been ever more built up, especially in the past 10-15 years - I think that it’s so important for us to hold on to as much of our history and heritage as possible for the sake of future generations

I'm from Galway and one thing I notice about walking around Dublin is no one wears earphones, why would they? every corner there is talented singers banging out tunes. What a great city
