that 1st heat for 98’ editions lineup was INSANE. chubb,bloomquist,w.wallace,hitt,Freddy smith, don oneal,matt miller, larry moore,conley,others. gotta believe the b mains winners will come from this group

my goodness this was waaaaaay more competitive and exciting that nowadays. More potential world 100 winners in each HEAT than there is in the feature for last several years where the sport is now down to 4 fast cars

Its a 2 camera show without any replays lol i would like to have seen some replays and damn Shannon babb must be the same age as Scott Bloomquist still racing today

Ive watched over 1000 of these races dating back as far as i can go on you tube and, 85-90 % of the time i see these absolutely LOADED fields knowing full well theres going to be ONE entry thats going to be waaaaaay faster than everyone else from throughout the country in the biggest events bloomquist. davenport. moyer. RTJ. Purvis. and, at Eldora…Moran. oh, for some parity lol

I ran a WISSOTA Street STOCK back in 1994 ran a full season. Finished in the top 5 in points at the local track.

In 1990 i was racing a '69 chevelle on some of the paved tracks down in Florida. Sure miss those days.

Sweet driving by Pete Parker in that 5th heat! used to watch him race on my local tracks back in the mis seventies where he rarely had the fastest car but always finished high up if those behind him race clean like Mr. Pierce and Mr. Blackjack did
