Our area isn’t technically a hurricane area, but Helene was so bad that it hit us. Lots of trees fell down and took out power lines and rivers flooded over their banks.

We place fairly light steel plates on top of the steam pipes, to push the gas down. The valves on the bottom can be opened and closed based on if we want the gas in the fire box. The steel plates need to be low weight, so they can blow off in case of excess pressure. So you don’t have a bomb.

All the steel plates do is rest on top of the pipes. Do not weld them down

For sure, don’t know what for yet, but we can’t let it rot on the ground

We enjoyed making them since it was one of the few things we could cook at the time. You have the right to voice your opinion on things. The video is just to entertain and maybe help anyone needing to make a meal with no power.
