Prophesy of Pendor Ascension - Hybrid Firearms
Showcase of the 5 Barclay firearm types featured in Ascension submod.
• Fusil
-- 1 shot before reload, 2h polearm melee mode
-- highest in game values of damage and missile speed, three additional zoom distances to choose from
-- can't be reloaded on horseback but melee mode is pretty convenient while mounted
-- used by Barclay Fusiliers, unlocked for CKO by capturing Rufio
• Blunderbuss
-- 1 shot before reload, bastard melee mode
-- fires buckshot of 60 bullets at once but the damage of each separate one is pretty low. Not effective against single target, best used at medium distance
-- can be used on horseback and recommended to use on sieges
-- used by generic Barclay bosses and Velasco Perfecta Durante. No common troops wield this weapon. Unlocks for СКО on higher ranks if joined Barclay
• Arquebus
-- 2 shots before reload, two-handed melee mode
-- both modes can be used while mounted
-- high damage provides universal usage on any distance, but it takes both hands so for effective shooting one should take cover first
-- used by foot Barclay Arquebusiers, mounted Barclay Dragoons and unlocks for CKO when player reaches 300 profs in Firearms
• Pistol
-- 4 shots before reload, one-handed melee mode
-- both modes allow shield, melee one is very fast but has only thrust and blocks in its moveset
-- high ammo spending rate on armored targets but the versatility is worth it
-- used by Flavio Juan de Gricio, Imperial Chevaliers and has a chance to appear for all Barclay infantry. Flavio will unlock it for CKO if you beat him in duel while having at least 50 relations with Barclay
• "La Pimienta" (caliver)
-- 3 shots before reload, 2h polearm melee mode
-- hidden blade gives melee mode cutting damage and convenient reach, allowing horse stopping with thrust and thus making it truly hybrid. Ranged mode has armor penetration, the only firearm that has it
-- fully usable on horseback, spray allows to interrupt enemy actions for 5 seconds making him easier to finish off. It has its own forced damage too but it's quite low and only once per second, so it will take a lot Spice points to kill with just spray damage, it is recommended to stick to its assist role. Horses and undead troops are not affected.
-- used by Rufio Vincente de Villaviciosia and can't be unlocked for CKO, same for other legendary weapons. Rufio won't use the spray as AI.

Winged units can now actually fly. Flight is toggled with pressing jump button mid-air. You will also fly faster while holding LCtrl, but since game treats flight as a looped jump, your aiming rectangle will be very wide. A small price to pay for ability to access any spot on the map...

Improved Noldor Tournaments

Improved outfits, now elves won't use human tournament uniforms. Revised scene, removed human buildings and objects, added alive spectators, main hall NPCs now will watch tournaments too. Elacrai tournament now feels more unique as well as became more difficult to win.

Illusory walls (Dark Souls reference)

A quite famous feature of DS series is illusory walls. When such wall gets hit, it will emit a sound and disappear, opening a passage or revealing a hidden loot. Turns out it can work in Warband too :)

How is this only consuming one ammo per shot? I've never been able to find a multi-shot tweak that allows one to set the ammo consumption independent of the number of shots fired.
that video is old af, the tweak version takes as much ammo as shots fired. You can find it here: pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Tweaks#Tweak_18_f if you need a source version, look at the reply below
@@dalion-asn The tweak I’m already using is also one you posted to the forum years ago, but it still uses as much ammo as shots fired, unlike the multi-shot in this video. Sure this video is old, but it’s also the only multi-shot I’ve seen that doesn’t drain ammo faster than I’d like. On another note, I hope your mod is going well! Glad to see you’ve still been working on it. I’m still looking forward to seeing how it turns out! I think about it anytime I jump back into Pendor, as I end up using your old forum posts as guides for tweaking the added firearms in different ways each time. Thanks again!

Not this year and not the next one. The amount of work left is significantly bigger than the number of hands capable of doing it. But we'll be there don't worry
