with the course would have a study case based on the whole process 25:30
I disagree with only sending loops to one producer in general. If the loop takes me 2-3 hours to record on my trumpet, piano, and then pair it with some vsts and vocal samples, i shouldn't send it to only one producer who might not even use it. The time tradeoff is not there. If a loop maker promises their loop pack to be exclusive and doesn't keep their word though, i agree, it isn't professional. I do think the way eight8 tells the loopmaker the terms of conditions is very fair though, but for the average producer you shouldn't send them exclusive loops

What happens, when a beat was sold via Beatstars with unlimited license, and later it turns out that parts of that beat were not cleared and thus not the producers to sell? Who's in the wrong in this situation? Surely not the artist that bought that unlimited license in good faith, right?

The loop game is indeed weird, where loops are shared with everyone like is a free loop pack sent
imagine you spent 3 hours recording instruments to create a unique loop (not just using splice) and then you send it only to one beatmaker who might not even use your loop. It just makes sense to send it out to everyone in your network to make it worth your while in recording that loop.
