If they had mod support for this game, it might be salvageable. The campaign sucked, but the MP was genuinely fun once you got the hang of it. It's a real shame.

This was the only Warhammer game I wanted to forget but still youtube daily recommends it.

I enjoyed it a lot. But dunno why it became boring after a while. The problem for me is taking the name of a franchise and change all the mechanics. That makes people used to that kind of mechanics not enjoying the new ones and then shitposting everywhere they go. They should have named apart from the DoW franchise and probably the game would had better success.

I'm playing DoW3 for the first time and although I understand all the critisism the community had towards this game, I still don't think it's that awful. I'm actually having fun with it. I still hope we may someday see a DoW1 remake or a DoW4 that is just jike DoW1 but with better graphics and quality of life add-ons.
