Shana's Bakery, Old Gomantak coloney, Bhatlem, Chincholem, Panjim - Goa
Salvador has explained very well the entire process of making Goan Paos. Would be helpful if someone could share the Address of Shana Bakery
At Old Gomantak coloney, Bhatlem, Chincholem, Panjim - Goa.
@@dadadirajfilms9748 Thank you very much. As Goans and Indians we should patronize such small family run businesses else in a matter of few years our tradition and culture will just disappear. On my part shall do so when I am next in Goa. Thank you Dadadiraj Films 😊
If not asking too much can this be supplied to Mangalore
Could you share the exact location of this in Goa. Because Bhatlem is 69km away from my place. An exact location would help more for everyone.
At Old Gomantak coloney, Bhatlem, Chincholem, Panjim - Goa.
We loved seeing Shana's bakery whenever we visited Goa. We lived in Anjuna and always got poli and katrepao from Sanjay's bakery. We enjoy eating but were unaware of the effort that goes into it. God bless you shana and your daughter and the whole family.. thank you so much for this informative video.god bless you all
My favorite poies, pao and unddos.💕
Very inspiring and well documented. Proud of the Father-daughter duo 👏👏👏
Great stuff !! And you got me scared at the end I’m not a fan of fireworks… at all !! It also reminded me of this menacing reality of plastic bags going on so long and not to leave us soon!! I used to as a pre-teen ask the vegetable vendors can you please tell people to bring their own bags the plastic goes in the fields destroys the soil harms the birds and all of us through the soil contamination. Their answer was exactly this , people don’t buy if we don’t give bags we have no business. In the rush and hurry if life it’s easy to forget and also now everything comes pre wrapped in plastic . I hope your film is shown in schools and there is some drive from Childhood level learning about all these matters. Well done keep up the good work .
Your concerns are truly relatable. Thanks for your valuable comment.
Great to see your series . I hope they will get some government incentives to support these occupations
Thank you! I'm glad you like the series. Yes! I too hope Government takes note of their efforts and help them out.
Very nice to see this and may G0d bless abundantly this and all other bakers doing this job with love and dedication providing the daily bread i and so many others like me grew up and grow up on. Long live their businesses and may they sustain successfully through the struggles for generations to come. Well don’t to Sybyl for her love and dedication to the occupation. Goa is not Goa without bread like yours !! You should go from strength to strength.
Thank you so much for your appreciation and encouragement.
Where in Goa is this Bakery?
At Old Gomantak coloney, Bhatlem, Chincholem, Panjim - Goa.
These guys operational since the 1940s, my grandfather told me about them long back. I think one of the few traditional bakery who are still in business after so so many years. The Video and the content showed is top notch, very well done, keep up the good work.
Thank you! Yes, by sustaining the traditional occupation, they are indeed doing a tremendous job. I really appreciate the feedback.

Thank you so much!
Hey thanks Jessica🙂
Very well documented Velma.
Thank you dear Anne🙂
Very pertinent! Well made>
Thank you!
Thank you Sir!
This video is very well done. Here in northeast Brazil they do not extract Sura . But to climb coconut palms the workers use two big steel ropes in form of loops to sustain the feet while removing the coconuts and trimming the dead leaves. In this way no cut is made on the bark of the palm for climbing.
Interesting information Carlos Pères da Costa. Thank you for encouraging us🙏🏻
Thank you so much! Thanks for sharing this info. Same way here they mostly use rope made of coconut husk while climbing to pluck coconuts.
Good job Porbhim tumkam
Thank you Manisha!
Thank you Manisha!

Thank you so much Ma'am Fatima!

Thanks for this documentary...👏
Thank you Mr Araujo!
Bel documentario, e un bel montaggio. Grazie per aver condiviso 🤙
Grazie mille, sono felice che ti sia piaciuto
Beautifully narrated, excellent cinematography and meticulous editing. A very well done video. This video needs to be shown in schools so that the students understand the concept of farming better. The finer nuances of farming cannot be understood by reading from books and today's children do not want to get their feet dirty. This video truly explains the processes through its excellent narrative and fabulous visual. My salute to the entire team.
Valor... excellent work
