I used to love going to Conventions and meeting the stars but then the prices shot up so I stopped going. It seems immoral to me to charge so much for 2 seconds of their time to sign something. Without the fans these stars would be nowhere and this is how they repay them.

Nearly two years before I was born. My parents made a short video of the massively deep snow in downtown Lancaster when this happened. Absolutely mind-blowing. I'm so glad God kept my parents safe through that whole mess. By the way, I love those retro 90s interior designs of the Giant Food Stores at 11:12 ! I believe those are the Columbia Avenue and Reservoir Street locations. The Columbia Avenue Giant is still there, but it looks nothing like that today. I miss those festive colors!

I paid 20 quid for an autograph of corey haim at Milton Keynes in 2006. They used to have some decent guests back then and was relatively cheap. The one I regret was missing out on buying robert Pattinson. They were only 15 quid at the time and a few years later he became a superstar and would have easily sold for 100 each

people are unhappy for paying 60 or 80 to take a pic with Lou Ferrigno when others charge 5 times that

I'd rather ask a few questions about their profession than get a signature. They're usually genuinely passionate about their craft.

They sit there saying how they like to meet the fans in person, then charge them 45 bucks to have their photo taken with them, these are over paid celebrities making around $1000 dollars an hour just having their photos taken with fans. Jesus people stop being so celebrity obsessed for fuck sake, they are just actors and probably acting when they meet you. How can some actor take 50 bucks off of a kid for signing an autograph, that's just so wrong. Back in the old days celebs met fans and signed autographs for free, because that was part of endearing yourself to the public.. e.g. You the fans made me rich and famous, so I'll stand around for half an hour while you take photo's or give autographs.. Not.. ok I'll charge you 50 bucks for an autograph... Wake up, you have made them rich and famous, bought the dvd's, the merchandise they get a cut of.. Don't throw more cash into their faces

I think the most I paid was 60 dollars for a professional picture with the actors that played Jason from part 2 and part 6 together in costume. I've never seen anyone charge much more than that for an autograph and picture.

Kid u not Chris Eccleston was charging £350 for a photo signing session.Unbelievable.

Once paid $35 for a signed photo of Scott Wilson. I was a still from one of my favorite movies THE NINTH CONFIGURATION and he signed it with one of his character quotes. Got to talk to him for a few minutes about his work. Thrilling - and worth every cent.

This is why I spend my con money on the vendors instead of a lot washed up celebrities. There was a time when it was 5$ for an autograph. But, some how it got out of hand with greedy celebrities. If it makes you happy to buy your autographs, then do you. But my opinion save your money for something cool down on the vendor floor.

I see Henry Winkler more as the Dr from Parks and Rec and the lawyer from Arrest Development than the Fonz!

I met Henry Winkler at Tower Records near Lincoln Center New York City in1989 and asking him for an autograph. He's very nice guy and superb actor.
