I live in Brazil and I couldn't find anything like that in Portuguese. As I was reading the book of Kings 1 and 2, everything I saw on youtube about those books were through protestant pastors and then when I found you I was amazed by your study videos. Thank you so much for the videos. The pastors keep connecting the passages to feelings, and the analogies are here and there. The miracle of the axe head through the eyes of protestantism is just plain crazy.

When reading or listening to the gospels i find it helpful to try to look for Marys pov in them. Ive come to love our blessed Mother almost as much as i love Jesus. And seeing things from Her perspective helps to memorize the important events.

In Christ we obtain freedom, sealed by his blood (v. 7). This does not mean that Christ shed his blood to make amends to his Father offended by sin, as if God were resentful as we often are, and as if his dignity were offended. Paul is referring to a biblical law: the emancipation of slaves used to be signed in blood (Ex 21:6), Commentary of Ephesians 1:7. Fr this is a commentary from A Catholic bible. The commentary said here that Paul is referring to a biblical law: "the emancipation of slaves used to be signed by blood". And I read the Exodus 21:6, and the ceremony is different because there is no" emancipation of slaves used to be signed in blood. I'm curious and think, what if the commentator made a mistake of using a wrong reference?
