This filming point faces SW whereas the original filming point faced more south, so the current one is better as the moon would be more visible.

@@stormguy2514 ok but I was just thinking that upstairs you could see more and the sunsets and sunrises would be more visible.

@@daylighttime-lapsesuk3606 yeah, well this filming point and the original one face SW, the other rooms pretty much face NNW so you can't see the moon nor the sun. My living room faces SW but the sockets are too far away to charge my phone during the timelapse.

I think you should try and get the camera I use, it will make your videos much higher quality and it wont shake as much also you wont have problems doing long time-lapses

yes, spring this year has been quite mild, particularly May which was the month that was in my favour, albeit June and July being quite a depressing one.

Yes. But the thunderstorm that hit mostly missed my area. They were 5-10 miles north.

@@Conmanthompson2 That's the problem, I already deleted the old files and it still is not working at the moment. I assume there was already a problem either prior to the recording or whilst recording.

Indeed. At this rate it looks to be one of the most unsettled seasons (Babet, Ciaran and Gerrit in particular). And if this persists, we could be seeing the most named storms since 2015 and more or less the most recorded in the UK (2023/24). We even had a very mild December with a CET of 7.1°C.

Storm Babet didn't seem too major where I was, I just had wind gusts up to 30mph.
