The beautiful thing about God is that his love and grace is what enables us to "have" faith. He doesn't wait for us to meet some pre-requisite before extending his love and invitation, but he actually calls us "even while we were yet sinners." Of course, we can always ignore/reject his call, but his grace is the only thing that is needed for us to receive faith and life.

@@keebler32ify Hmm, I'm definitely familiar with those details about Jesus, but I hadn't heard that all those same details were the same for the other four. Zeus was born in a cave in Crete to hide him from his father, Cronus. Mithra was born from a rock. Dionysus was "twice born." And Horus was born to Isis through some sort of magic involving dead Osiris' body. But, you're right, I can be ignorant to these other deity stories (I had to look those details up on Google). Every culture in every time period thought they were in the end of days. People thought Hitler was the anti-christ, Julius Cesar, and the list goes on and on. Google "Trump anti-christ" or "Putin-anti-christ". The Bible say man does not know the day nor the hours and don't you think it's a little arrogant to think you know God's plans. Yes, I will admit certain events had taken place recently like the drying up of Trigress and Euphrates River found in book of revelation. But these are events planned to happen by God. The world could last another 500 years we don't know. Assuming the world will end in our life time the likelihood is about 20%-30%. I'm hoping things will calm down once all the baby boomers die. They are the only ones pushing for WW3.
