To all the nay-sayers, from all the videos I've watched about this, you can see they show MAN, Scania, or Volvo trucks. This technology was developed mostly in Northern European countries such as Norway. After 39 years in the oilfield and now trucking, I will tell you that no other people do safety design better than the Norwegians. I would love to have this system on my 2019 T680.

We have been landed with a load of these horrible inventions on some DAFS. Drivers hate them, won’t drive them, image quality is atrocious particularly on the driver side. Three lines on the cameras overlayed to help judge distance is no substitute for a mirror that provides clarity and depth of vision. They are a gimmick, they are not safe and should be banned. Along with smart motorways; another bright idea.

So someone tell me wtf you do going 70 mph down the highway and they no longer work. Run over some 4 wheelers trying to pull off the interstate? Well we've just had our 28 new vehicles with these cameras at arriva in thurmaston And there not bad .. £4,000 if you were to replace one from damaged

This technology is a real danger for cars and trucks. Mirrors allow spatial viewing. Your left eye and your right have a different viewing angle and can see 3D. That's not possible with MirrorEye. As an add-on it's good. But as a replacement it's a danger.

This should be required equipment on every commercial vehicle in New York City -- and maybe every large SUV and light truck too. So much carnage ay intersections because the driver was not sufficiently aware of their surroundings, too isolated in their tall vehicles. Little girls, grandmas, delivery workers, random people. [CONWAY CONWAYS SON ] Cool new tech but I like the old mirrors as well , theres ways they could be hacked if wireless or some sort of mechanical failure, with the old mirriors you can manually adjust to see what you need to see besides blind spots : )
